Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "This is what I cannot throw away----------------------"

I can throw nearly anything away because if it was made by man it is just a material object and is replaceable. What I never throw away is my relationship with Jesus Christ and my love for people. People are not replaceable. Each of us is unique. Even identical twins are unique because they have different experiences and different perceptions. I have never found a person yet who did not have some redeeming qualities. Jesus felt the same way because He saw the entire human race as worth dying for. He died for us when we were unworthy actually, but in His mind it was love that gave us value. He loved us when we were unlovable and He expects the same from us. He wants and demands that we love one another. Some people ask how a loving God could condemn anybody to a burning Hell? He can do so because God is also a God of wrath. Wrath is undeniable anger. A jealous God wants us to willingly love Him. If we are unable to do so then then the love of God compels Him to grant our wishes and allow us to choose eternal separation from Him. That separation will be in Hell.

I am perfectly content to be in 1920 though I can remember when I was in sixth or seventh grade, wondering how old I would be in 2020 and wondering if I would ever see 2020? Now it is 2020 and I am 58 years old. As I recall, I thought back then that I would be in my late 40's, but I was too lazy to do the actual math!
