Only Fourteen Paragraphs Written Yesterday

Yes, I know that this blog entry is a little bit later than I planned for this journal. So was yesterday’s blog entry. Tomorrow will probably be posted about this time too. That’s because I have something else that I needed to do on WDC this weekend.

That is enough of ranting and raving. I know that isn’t too much ranting and raving. But sometimes I don’t have too much to write about that isn’t related to this blog title. This is one of those times. Yes, I know that I have done it again with this paragraph too.

Now for some good news. At least I think that it is. true, I only got fourteen paragraphs written for my Water Wars movie Treatment. But all fourteen of them were either four, five, or six lines long. That’s why I consider it a good day for this scriptwriting project.

Their length isn’t the only reason why I didn’t get a few more paragraphs written. In a way, I did write more than fourteen yesterday at work. Why do I write that? It’s because I did a lot of erasing with these paragraphs. So, it was like I did at least one or two more.

Physically, I only did fourteen. But with all the erasing it was more like fifteen or sixteen. If not another paragraph or two. It’s the physical that counts, though. after all, they are what makes my Treatments a Treatment. It was true for Outlines too. And it’s even more true with Treatments.

The erasing wasn’t the only reason why I did do more writing yesterday at work. What is the usual reason why I don’t do more writing? That’s right, it’s work. And yesterday is one of the reasons I didn’t get more writing done. It wasn’t that busy at work yesterday. But it was very busy, though.

Well, in a way, work is the reason why I didn’t get more writing done than I did yesterday. It wasn’t really work. But it was work-related, though. What I am trying to write is that the sun was a problem for me yesterday at work. It wasn’t supposed to be one. But it was.

According to the Weather App, it was supposed to be completely cloudy yesterday for the first three hours of my shift. And only mostly cloudy during the last thirty minutes or so in the third hour. But it was just the opposite of that. It turned out to be mostly sunny during that time.

Unfortunately, I believed in the App. Even though my brother keeps telling me not to do it. but I did. As a result, I didn’t sit out of the sun during that time. So, I was almost constantly trying to stay out of it. And that did slow me down a little. but it didn’t slow me down that much.

Today, I’m hoping that I will do a little bit better than I did yesterday. And I think that I have a very good chance to do at least twenty paragraphs today. Maybe even twenty-five or more. After all, it is Saturday. And Saturday’s are usually very slow at work.

Then again, I may be lucky if I get fifteen written. Work may be normal. But the sun won’t be. I just checked. And it’s supposed to be very sunny today. Whether I get ten, fifteen, or more written, I’m going to get as much writing as I can done today.
