Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: "One who knows how to show and to accept kindness will be a friend better than any possession." ~ Sophocles
What do you think? Which is more difficult to show kindness or to accept kindness?"

While it is hard for some people to show kindness, it is also equally hard for them to accept it. I work in the social services office of the Salvation Army Huntington WV Corps. It is my job to show kindness and I do it pretty well. The key is in honestly being able to love people, something I wasn't always ready to do. Then I met Jesus and he transformed my heart. Today love everybody and that means I love the reader of this blog. Jesus taught me to love.

Blog City image smallPrompt: "Do you make your bed in the morning or leave it unmade? What do you think this says about you?"

I usually straighten it up. Most of the time I sleep on top of my blankets. My heater keeps the room comfortable so the blankets are unnecessary. However I occasionally sleep under them. I have recently because I have been ill. I have a sinus infection. It seems to be going away but I also have allergies that keep me sick and they aren't going away. I take allergy meds but they don't help. Anyway my bed is usually half made. I lay on it a lot as the only furniture in my room is the bed and a small chair. I live in a dorm room. I probably will the rest of my life. I don't require much as everything I need is already here. I do like to get paid like anybody else. My bed though is usually made but messed up from my lying on it. You could never bounce a quarter off of it.
