Yesterday and Today So Far

Yes, I know that this blog entry is a few hours later than I been trying to make it. But I have a very good reason for doing that. The same one that gave me a little over ten paragraphs written yesterday and today at work on my Water Wars movie Treatment. And that reason is OT.

That right, I did four hours of overtime for two hours yesterday and two hours today. Unfortunately, it was at the very busy post. So, I didn’t get too much writing done during that time. But I did get a little bit more done for a total of thirteen paragraphs written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That included one that was for an Establishing Shot.

That equals a tad under one paragraph per hour written. Yes, I know that it doesn’t read like it’s too good. And it isn’t. But considering how busy my yesterday and today so far was at work, I’m kind of surprised that I got that many of them written. It was that busy.

The first six hours of my shift yesterday was very, very busy. it was almost non-stop work. No, it wasn’t as busy as my Wednesdays used to be at that other post. But it was still very busy. The sun for almost the first four hours of it didn’t help too much either. Even that didn’t slow me down too much. And the next couple of hours didn’t slow me hardly at all.

Usually, in the last couple of hours, it can get busy at work. Sometimes it’s only a little bit busy. But most of the time it’s a whole lot busier. That isn’t true yesterday. It was almost non-existent work during that time. There was a little bit. But nothing compared to how it normally is.

Today it’s a Saturday. So, that could mean that I will get a little bit more than ten paragraphs written today. I believe that it was twelve last Saturday and Sunday. But I’m hoping that it will be even more than that for today and tomorrow. Of course, a lot of that depends on how busy it gets at work and if I am working any more overtime.

It doesn’t sound like I’m going to be working any OT today and tomorrow morning. But I may be doing it for tomorrow and Monday morning for a couple of hours each day. As for work, if it’s a normal Saturday I shouldn’t have too much trouble getting at least twelve paragraphs written. But if it isn’t, then I may be lucky if I get ten written.
