Day 10- learning a language
How many languages do you speak? If you could instantly learn any language and be able to speak it fluently, what language would you pick? How would you use it and where would you go?

I speak exactly one language. Since English is what I'm typing you can assume that's it.

My very German grandmother tried to get me to learn German when I was a kid, and I picked it up pretty well like most kids do, but didn't retain it because I never kept using it.

If I could choose, though, I'd learn to speak Portuguese. I think it's such a gorgeous language, and I know it's not as widely spoken as some of its sister languages but when I move to Portugal or Brazil, that won't matter. *Wink*
