Ten Isn’t Too Bad During the Week

Work was very bad yesterday. Especially, the first couple of hours. It was almost non-stop during that time. True, it did let up a little bit after that. But not by much. It was still very busy the whole of yesterday. That isn’t all that unusual for a Thursday. It’s often like that on that day.

The sun was also a factor when it comes to me working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It was supposed to be completely cloudy for the first three hours of my shift. And mostly cloudy during the next two hours. Guess What? It was almost the opposite. It’s true, the sun did hide behind some clouds a few times. But most of it the sun didn’t. It was very sunny yesterday despite what the weather App said that it would be.

True, the sun was a big problem for me. But it didn’t really slow me down that much when it comes to my Water Wars movie Treatment. It did a tiny bit. But it wasn’t too bad. In fact, most of my ten paragraphs were written during the first five hours aka when the sun was trying to blind me.

Most writers may think that only ten paragraphs aren’t a very good day. But I disagree. After all, that’s about five hundred lines or very close to it. Which equals about ten pages for a short story, novel chapter, etc. aka a whole short story or novel chapter. That why I think that ten paragraphs are a good day for writing. Especially, since it’s happening during the week.

Between work and the sun, I’m kind of surprised that I got ten of them written. But I did. And I could have probably done at least two more before the end of my shift. Maybe even three or four. After all, I had almost two hours left on my shift. But I decided not to do it because I was tired. And it’s not because of the lack of sleep. It’s because I pushed myself to do those ten.

Today, I’m going to continue working on this project. and if it’s anything close to what it was last Friday, I may get a lot of writing done on it. I’m hoping that I will get a whole lot of writing completed today at work. But I’m not going to count on it until it happens. I’m hoping to get about fifteen to twenty paragraphs written on my first scriptwriting project, Water Wars. And if it’s anything like last Friday, I will. But if it’s only ten, I will be happy. After all, it is still during the week.
