A Very, Very Bad Yesterday at Work

It was a very bad yesterday at work when it comes to my writing. In fact, it’s almost as bad as not getting anything written as I did on Wednesday’s at that other post. What am I avoiding writing? I only got five paragraphs written for my Water Wars first episode Treatment done. And I’m the reason why I didn’t get more done.

True, I did have a lot of distractions from the weather, my brother, and work. But the blame still goes to me. I just couldn’t concentrate on my writing. Of course, I wanted to do it. but I just had a lot of trouble doing it. and it’s all because of my lack of concentration.

The weather was very gloomy yesterday with rain raining almost all the way through my shift. At least the first six hours of it. Only it wasn’t that bad of a rainstorm. It didn’t rain that much during those hours. And about the last two, there wasn’t any rain at all. But there was a coldness, though. It wasn’t freezing cold. The wind was a little bit strong. So, that’s what made it cold.

My brother interrupted me several times yesterday to talk to me about one thing or another. And he likes to talk. He also repeats himself a million times. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing written because of him. I did manage to get a few lines written while talking to him. But unfortunately, it wasn’t that much.

It wasn’t a typical yesterday at work either. True, it was very, very busy. but it was very busy. So busy, that I had to spend a lot more time out of my guard shack that I have been doing lately on a Friday. It didn’t slow me down all that much. But it did do it a little bit.

Like I wrote above, it’s all my fault that I didn’t get more written on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I just couldn’t concentrate on it because of everything that happened yesterday. That’s not an excuse. Because there is no excuse for me. It’s just an explanation of why I only got five paragraphs written in eight hours.

Today is a Saturday. And it’s usually not too busy on a Saturday. So, I should get a lot of writing written today. That’s what should happen. As for if it will, who knows? If it’s a normal Saturday, then I should get at least seventeen paragraphs written. That includes two Establishing Shots too. but if it’s not a normal one, then I may be lucky if I only get ten of them written.
