Coming Down With a Cold

Except for feeling weak and tired all the time, I don’t think that I have a cold or am coming down with one. But when it comes to my writing, it sure does look that way to me. What other explanation can there be with me only getting ten paragraphs written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project in eight hours?

Yes, I know this reads like I’m trying to shift blame when it’s my fault I couldn’t get more written yesterday at work. But I’m not trying to do that. I know that it’s all my fault. I’m the one who couldn’t concentrate. Even though there was another thing besides how I felt, though.

The weather wasn’t bad. But it was a little bit cold. And when it’s cold outside I feel it inside too. luckily, I didn’t have to go out into that could too much yesterday. After all, it was a very normal Saturday. It wasn’t very busy at all. True, it was a little busy at times. But it wasn’t that busy aka a typical Saturday.

At least I did end Act Three of my Water Wars first episode Treatment. That’s good. That means that when I go to work today, I will be starting Act Four. I don’t know how many paragraphs I will get written today. but it could be a lot. It could also be very little. If it’s anything like the last couple of days, then I will be lucky if I get twelve of that done. And that includes two Establishing Shots.

I don’t think that I will have too many problems with the work itself today. After all, it is Sunday. So, it’s not going to be very busy. That’s if it’s a normal Sunday. Usually, it’s only a little bit busier on Sunday than it is on Saturday.

It’s not just work that may slow me down, if not stop me, from doing my writing. It is also how I feel and the weather. If it’s like the last couple of days, then I may be lucky if I get twelve of them done. Whether I get five to ten of them written, or I get fifteen to twenty I’m going to get as many paragraphs as I can write today at work.
