It has Been a Very Busy First Day Off of Work

When I started work yesterday, I didn’t think that I would even get twelve paragraphs written for episode one of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That’s two Establishing Shot paragraphs and ten scene ones. Luckily, I was wrong about that. It may have taken me a little bit longer to get started than it usually does. But once I did, I couldn’t stop myself from writing. Of course, I did have a few things to get in my way, like work and the sun. It didn’t slow me down that much, though.

How many paragraphs did I get written yesterday at work? I got seventeen of them done. That may not read like a lot to most readers and writers. But it is for me. Especially, after the last few days that I have been writing. Being a Sunday also helped me. And it was a typical Sunday too. not too busy and not too slow. It was just a little bit busier than Saturday was. Which is normal.

The sun was also a slight distraction too. But not that much of one now that it’s not trying to blind me. I got tired of all the double standards at work a couple of Sundays ago. So, I started closing the blinds too. Not completely, like everyone else does. But enough so that I’m not threatened with blindness because of it. So far, no one has said anything about it yet.

I stayed up a little bit to relax before I went to sleep last night. That’s because I knew that there was at least one thing that my brother and I needed to do today. So, I went to sleep a little earlier than usual. As a result, I didn’t continue working on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death.

Unfortunately, I was wrong again about what else my brother and I needed to get done today. I didn’t think that we did. But I was wrong. In fact, there was a lot that needed to be done. What does that mean to my writing? It means that I didn’t get too much written on the Outline for my second scriptwriting project. Don’t get me wrong. I did get some writing on it done. It just wasn’t as much as I wanted to get written.

As far as I know, my brother and I don’t have anything that we need to do tomorrow. But I could be wrong about that. I have thought that a million times before. And I was wrong. So, I may be this time too. If I’m not, then I should get a lot of writing done tomorrow on my second project. I’m about halfway through Act Five of my Outline for this project. I probably won’t get it finished tomorrow even if I do work all day. But I hope that I do.
