Feast of Light

On the table of the Lord,
is spread
a feast of light
waiting to be consumed.

In the center of the table
rests the wine of divine splendour
next to the bread
of heavenly illumination.

Particle by particle
we consume the effulgence
of God's word.
as its radiance
sheds the brightness of divine unity
upon humanity.
