With Only a Few Minutes Left

I barely got fifteen paragraphs written yesterday at work on the second episode Treatment on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And it took me almost the whole shift to do it. Which means I averaged about two scene paragraphs per hour. That may not read like a lot. But considering it came while I was at work, it’s not as bad as it reads. Then again, it kind of is. After all, yesterday was Sunday.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done than I hoped to get written? That’s right, it’s work. And sometimes it’s the sun too. But both are related to work. That isn’t what happened yesterday, though. It was a very normal Sunday. Well, that isn’t exactly true. In fact, it wasn’t all that typical. It was a lot slower than it usually is. I don’t know why it was that slow. But it was more like a Saturday than a Sunday. That’s whole slow it was.

The sun wasn’t the reason why I didn’t get more writing done either. That’s because there was very little sun yesterday at work. There was a little bit early into my shift. But that wasn’t enough to slow me down when it comes to my writing. Another reason why is the lack of concentration and/or sleep. I didn’t have any problems with either one of them. Sometimes I do. but yesterday I didn’t. I got plenty of sleep the night before. And I didn’t have any trouble concentrating on my writing.

I don’t know why I didn’t get more written yesterday. It’s one of those times when you may never know the answer to a question. This may be one of them. Personally, I think that fifteen scene paragraphs are very, very good. Even if it is on a Sunday. Unfortunately, I can’t write the same about today aka my first day off from work. That’s because up until I started writing this blog entry, I haven’t gotten any writing done.

Of course, I wanted to work on my second scriptwriting project, The Problem with Death. But I didn’t get the chance to do it. What is the usual reason why I can’t get any writing done on my day off? It’s because I have been too busy with my brother doing things that needed to be done. this was one of those days. It started early this morning. And it ended just before I started writing this blog entry about a half-hour ago.
