A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Just What I Wanted to Write I only got twelve paragraphs written yesterday at work. But that’s okay. That’s how many that I wanted to get written. Out of those twelve, ten are scene paragraphs and two are Establishing Shot ones. That isn’t all, though. It also means that the first half of my Tag Act Treatment for the second episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project has been written. If I had wanted to write five more, I probably could have done them. Not because I had that much time left on my shift to do them, but because I wouldn’t have stretched out the first ten like I did so that I could only get ten written. Why did I do that? It’s because I didn’t want only five scene paragraphs left for the end of my Treatment for this episode. Ten is a lot better than five. When I first started writing the Tag Act for this episode, I thought that I may be able to get all twenty-two paragraphs written yesterday. After all, the first few paragraphs went very quickly. Then suddenly where I work started getting extremely busy, and I soon realized that I probably wouldn’t get all twenty written. But maybe I could get fifteen done. At that time, my goal was to get fifteen done. Only work kept up being busy. That’s when I thought that ten would be enough. And I even had a little trouble finishing them by the end of my shift. But I did it. I shouldn’t have too much trouble getting the last ten scene paragraphs written today at work. No matter how bad work gets, I should be able to do it. The big question is, will I start working on The Bible for this series today or start it tomorrow? I still haven’t decided on that yet. It may depend on how busy it is at work and how long it takes to finish this Tag Act. If it only takes me about half my shift to do it, then I may start working on The Bible for this series. If it takes me into the second half of my shift to finish this episode, then I probably won’t be starting The Bible for this series today. Then again, I might do it. At least the planning part of it. That way I can start working on The Bible itself on Saturday. I should know by the time that I do my next blog entry whether or not I started working on The Bible for this series.
