Unfortunately

I was right about how many episode paragraphs for The Bible of my Water Wars scriptwriting project that I was going to get written yesterday at work. In fact, it was a lot worse than I thought that it would be. I was hoping to get ten to fifteen written. But I didn’t even get that many. Five is all that I got, unfortunately. And I’m very happy with the fifth one. So, I may be re-writing it again.

That isn’t the only one that I had to re-write. Out of the five I probably re-wrote at least three of them. And I think that it was four. Unfortunately, I didn’t just re-write them once or twice. It was several times for each one of them. Some were only part of the way through the paragraph. And for some, it was completed one that I started over again.

So, in a lot of ways, I did write ten to fifteen paragraphs yesterday at work. Unfortunately, they still equaled five. Which means that it was a very bad yesterday for my writing. Why was it so bad? That is a very good question. What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done than I wanted to do? That’s right it’s work or work-related.

Work was a big reason why I didn’t get more written at work yesterday. But it wasn’t the only reason, though. In fact, they weren’t even the main one. Unfortunately, I’m the main reason why I didn’t get too much writing done yesterday. I couldn’t concentrate on my writing. True, part of that was because of work. But most of it was because of me. It was me who had a lack of concentration.

Unfortunately, work was very, very busy yesterday. That doesn’t surprise me, though. It has been like that for the last few Thursdays at work. What I wasn’t surprised about is how busy it was during the rainstorm that took up the first half of my shift yesterday. That’s the other reason why I didn’t get more finished paragraphs written. It was gloomy even after the almost constant downpouring of rain ended.

Today, I hope that it’s not as bad as yesterday was at work. Unfortunately, it might be. The raining may have ended. But the heat, humidity, and the sun will be a part of the reason why I don’t get as much writing done. I should get more than yesterday. That isn’t saying too much, though. I don’t think that will be a problem this time.

The sun isn’t that big of a problem anymore now that I’m closing the blinds as everyone else does. At least they will be closed most of the way. Enough for me to still see out and be seen. And enough for the sun not to blind me. Unfortunately, the heat and humidity could be. But I don’t think that will be a big problem either.

It’s only supposed to be in the almost middle seventies today. And with a long-sleeved shirt that may be a problem. Unfortunately, I’m the only one who has to wear them. It’s another attempt to either force me to quit or to kill me. Something else that isn’t going to work.

I don’t know how many episode paragraphs that I’m going to get written today at work. But I’m hoping to get another ten to fifteen written. Unfortunately, that may not happen. I may not have the weather that might stop me from writing. But I still do have work to deal with. Don’t forget my lack of concentration. I don’t think that will be a problem. But they both could be.
