Good News, Bad News

The good news is that I finished the fourth season synopses for The Bible of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But the bad news is that I only had to write ten paragraphs to do it. I probably could have gotten a few more written. Maybe even five more episodes paragraphs written, but I don’t think that I would have been able to write quite that many. Why do I feel that way? It’s because of work.

Not where I work, though. It’s the security company that I work for. They gave me a stupid quiz that they wanted me to take that didn’t even relate to my job there. My supervisor for that site said he didn’t need it right away. But I didn’t want to take any chances that they may try to use that as an excuse to fire me. So, I took it. As a result, I lost about one hour of writing because of it.

Work was also a reason why I didn’t get more written. But it wasn’t the main one. The quiz was. Don’t get me wrong. It was very busy at work yesterday. One of the busiest Fridays in a long time. Between work and the quiz, that’s the reason why I didn’t get more work written.

With only one season left to do, I shouldn’t have too much problem getting twenty more episodes paragraphs written. I may even be able to do it today. After all, it is Saturday. But I doubt it. At most, I will be able to do fifteen of them. but that will only leave five for Sunday. Does that mean I’m going to be starting the scripts this weekend?

I could start the scripts on Sunday. But I’m thinking that it may be best if I only do ten each day. That way I can start working on my scripts fresh when I return to work next Wednesday. I still haven’t decided if I will do that or not. But I probably will.

Of course, that all depends on work. After all, if it’s a normal Saturday and Sunday, I shouldn’t have any trouble getting ten of them done each day. But if it’s not normal, then I may be lucky to get ten written. I don’t think that it’s going to be that busy. I’m sure that it will be a very normal weekend. But I have been wrong before.
