I Did It Again
I did It Again

It was very, very busy at work yesterday. One of the busiest that it has been in a long time. In fact, it may have been the busiest Thursday that I have ever been a part of. That’s how busy it was. It wasn’t as busy as my Wednesday’s used to be. But yesterday was a close second.

True, I wasn’t on my feet all shift. Not anywhere close to it. But I was on them a whole lot more than I usually am at my normal post. I was on them about half of the hour several times during my shift. Including the last hour of my shift. No, I wasn’t on them almost constantly, but I was on them almost non-stop most of that last hour.

Of course, it wasn’t all that bad. There were a few times when I actually got to get some writing done on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that surprised me a lot. I only had about six hours to do any writing. If I even had quite that much time. And I still got one hundred and forty-five single sentences written for this project.

That right, I got one hundred and forty-five of them written. Don’t ask me how I did that. Because I don’t know. As soon as I started writing I couldn’t stop doing it. True, work did make me stop a whole lot, but even that didn’t slow me down that much. If it slowed me down at all.

So, what did I get written yesterday at work? I got three Acts written, one Tag Act, and one Teaser Act. One of the three Acts was the last one for the movie Treatment. The other two were for the first two Acts of the first episode of my television series.

The Tag Act Two was for the end of my movie Treatment. But the Teaser Act was for the first episode Treatment. What does that mean when it comes to this project? It means that I have finished up my movie Treatment and the first half of episode one aka “Younger-Than-Adults.”

What about today? Will I be able to do it again today? I hope that I can. But there is a very good chance that I won’t get quite that many done. I should be able to get the last half of episode one written. And I may even get the Teaser Act for my episode two done. But I probably won’t get Act One of it done.

Especially, since today is Friday. Of course, yesterday was also a weekday aka Thursday. And I got that many single sentences written. But I don’t think that I can get that lucky two days in a row. Then again, I might. I have done it before. So, there is no reason why I can’t do it again. Even if it is a weekday.

Only it isn’t just a weekday. It’s also a Friday. And it can be very busy on a Friday. I hope that it’s not a typical Friday today. If it is, I may be lucky if I get ninety of my single sentences written. And if I’m really lucky I may get one hundred and ten written. I should be able to do at least the latter amount no matter how busy it is today. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens.
