Back to One Ten

At first, I didn’t think that I was going to even get ninety single sentences for my first episode with my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I thought that if I got seventy of them that I would be lucky. Why did I feel that way? It was because it took me about three hours to do the first thirty-five aka Act Three. This means that with the weather and work it took me around four hours to do just that many. That’s the first half of my shift.

Don’t ask me why it took me so long to write only than many because I don’t know the answer to that. True, work and the weather are a small part of why I didn’t get more writing done. And it did slow me down a tiny bit. But it didn’t stop me from writing that much. If it stopped me at all. So, what is the reason why?

I don’t know. What is the usual reason besides work or the weather? It either the lack of concentration or it’s the lack of sleep. Neither one is the reason yesterday. I didn’t have a problem with concentration. And I got plenty of sleep last night.

Work was very busy yesterday. Especially, during the first couple of hours with it was raining. After the rain ended it was still very busy. I wasn’t on my feet all the time kind of busy. But I was on them a lot more than I usually am for a Friday. The last six hours were like that. I still had plenty of time to do my writing. So, why didn’t I?

I’m still not sure why. And it may be one of those things that will never be answered. But it doesn’t really matter. When I started writing Act Four. There was no stopping me. Not even work it didn’t stop me that much. Once I started writing I couldn’t stop until I finished it. First, it was Act Four, then it was the Tag Act, and then it was the Teaser Act for the second episode in this television series project for a total of one hundred and ten single sentences.

Today, it’s Saturday. And that usually means that it’s not very busy at work. If that still remains true, then I should be able to get a lot of writing done. I’m hoping that I can get all four Acts of the second episode of this project, “One of the First to Leave Us,” done.

That’s one hundred and forty single sentences. That is doable for a Saturday. But will I be able to do that many, though? After all, it’s supposed to be raining heavily all day today. And when that happens, I’m usually too bummed out to do any writing. I going to try to do as much writing as I can today. But I’m not going to count on doing that many sentences until I actually do them.
