Another Big Slight Change

Yesterday at work it was a lack of concentration that I had that stopped me from writing more single sentences for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That’s because I only did seventy of them aka two Acts. And I barely got them done in eight hours. Seventy was only half of what I wanted to get written. I was hoping to get at least three Acts done. But that didn’t happen because of my lack of concentration.

Why couldn’t I concentrate more? The usual answer to that question is either work, the weather, or both. But today it was neither one. It was a very normal Saturday. Work wasn’t very busy at all. The weather was hot. But that didn’t slow me down that much either. There weren’t any rainstorms or rain yesterday. So, that didn’t stop me from writing either. Unfortunately, what stopped me from doing it was me.

Normally, I don’t know why I didn’t write more than I did. But yesterday I do. It was because of episode one, “Younger-Than-Adults,” and episode two, “One of the First to Leave Us,” of this television series. That’s when I realized that something was wrong. Not with the main storylines. They are going to stay the same. It’s the secondary storylines that are wrong. I just didn’t realize it until toward the end of my shift.

It all started with episode one. I had a feeling that there was something wrong with it. But I ignored it because it practically wrote itself. It wasn’t until I started the second episode that I realized what was wrong with it. Especially, when I started writing Act One and Two.

Today, I’m going to start solving this latest problem. I don’t know if I will actually have enough time to start working on episode one. But I should get the Outlines and Treatment numbering finished today. I’m just not sure how long it will take. I don’t think it will take all my shift to do it. At least I hope that it doesn’t. But it might.
