Unfortunately, I only got eighteen single paragraphs for the movie Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project done yesterday at work. Normally, that would be a good number of paragraphs. But not when you work a couple of hours of OT. I was hoping to get at least twenty written. That would have averaged out to be two an hour. But it didn’t work out that way yesterday.

Eighteen is still very good. But I was hoping it would be a little more or a lot more than that. And in a way, it was more. The Teaser Act One wasn’t that big of a problem because I have done it a million times already. I just needed to show it instead of telling it better. But Act One was a lot harder to do.

I didn’t re-write all nine paragraphs multiple times. But I did several of them, though. And each one of them I re-wrote at least once. A few it was several times. So, in a way, I did write more than eighteen single paragraphs yesterday at work. Why did I have so much trouble writing them? I don’t know the answer to that question.

All I know is that I knew what I wanted to write. I just had a lot of trouble doing it. There was a lot of erasing at work yesterday. A whole lot of it. Sometimes it was only part of a paragraph. And sometimes it was most or all of it. Overall, I think that it was more all than it was part.

There was also a slight problem with work. It wasn’t very busy at work yesterday. But it was kind of busy. Especially, before the sun went down. Which means it was busy during most of my ten-hour shift. And a lot of that time I was out in the sun. I wasn’t out there all during my shift. But I was out there a lot more than I should have been.

Today, it’s a Saturday. And it’s usually very, very slow on a Saturday. If that true for today, then I should be able to get a lot of writing written on this project today. I’m hoping to get at least two more Acts written. But I would like it to be three. Unlikely, it will be three. No matter how slow it is, I doubt that I will get twenty-seven single paragraphs written. It’s not an impossible task. I just don’t think that I will be able to do it.
