Not a Typical Wednesday
Not a Typical
Wednesday

The first four hours yesterday I wasn’t surprised above. I expected it to be bad. But it was a lot worse than I thought that it would be. Not only was it storming during the first couple of hours of my OT, but it was extremely busy too. The last couple of hours wasn’t as bad when it comes to the rain. But it was just as busy. If it wasn’t even busier. I’m not surprised about that, though. After all, I was in my old post during that time.

That’s why I didn’t even try to do any writing there. I didn’t even take in my writing supplies. Of course, most of that is because it was raining real heavily at that time. It was so bad that I got very wet. My writing would have gotten it a lot worse. If it didn’t ruin it completely.

Once my OT was over, I went to my regular post. And it turned out to be just the opposite than my OT post. There wasn’t a lot of work that I needed to do there. Don’t get me wrong. It was kind of busy. But it wasn’t anything like it has been the last few Wednesdays. What does that mean for my writing? It means that I got a lot of it done yesterday.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to feel like doing it because of the OT for the first four hours. But when I got my paper and pencils out, I started writing. And from then on there was no stopping me. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I did have to do some work. But even that didn’t slow me down too much.

So, how much writing did I get written yesterday at work? I did fourteen single paragraphs for my movie Outline on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That may not read like a lot of writing to most writers. But I think that it is. Especially, since they were all four or five lines long. With two-thirds of them being five.

I’m hoping today will be the same as yesterday. At least I do when it comes to my writing and how busy it gets at work. I would like to get another fourteen paragraphs written today too. If not a little bit more. It can be done. I have done it before during the week. But I won’t know if I can until I do it.
