The Worst Yesterday Ever

Except for when I used to work at my old post when I couldn’t get any writing done, yesterday was the worst one so far. At least I think that it is. And after I write why I think it is it will make more sense. What am I writing about?. It’s about the fact that I didn’t get too much writing done on my Scene Outline for my Water Wars movie.

How much did I get written during my eight hours at work yesterday? Unfortunately, I only got six single paragraphs written. And two of them were Establishing Shots. True, there were numerous re-writes on almost all of them. But that’s no excuse for me not getting more of them written.

Why didn’t I get more written? What is the usual reason? That’s right, it’s work. And this time it was mostly their fault. Not only was it extremely busy yesterday at work, but I was in and out of my guard post most of the time. That’s because I didn’t just go outside like I normally do. I had to do it each time yesterday. and that means I was in and out at least fifty times yesterday.

Work may have been the main reason why I didn’t get more on my Water Wars scriptwriting project done. But it wasn’t the only one, though. The re-writes were part of the other reason. And there were a lot of them. But the other reason was me. I had a lack of concentration.

Some of my re-writes were only a word or two, or a sentence or two. But some of them were the whole paragraph. The lack of concentration was part of the reason for so many re-writes. It was mostly because of me and work. Working so hard did slow me down a whole lot when it comes to my writing. Especially, since I was up and down most of my shift. And that was part of my lack of concentration. But that wasn’t all of it. I’m the main reason for my lack.

Today, I’m going to continue working on my movie Scene Outline for this project. I’m not sure how much I will get written. but I’m sure it won’t be as bad as yesterday. At least I hope it isn’t. I hope it’s never that way again no matter how busy it gets at work.

Like I wrote above, I don’t know how many single paragraphs that I’m going to get written today. But I’m hoping that it will be about ten to fifteen. If I can get that many on a Friday, I will consider it a good day. Even if I don’t get that many if it’s a bad day at work I will consider it a good day. Whether I get ten, fifteen, something in between, or less than ten I’m going to get as many as I can written.
