Mystical Asirations

I am a "mystical aspirant"1--
a poet with mystical aspirations--
who knows that union
with the Unknowable Divine Essence
is impossible.

I am a poet with mystical aspirations,
who recognizes Baha'u'llah
as the Divine Manifestation
for this day,
and strives to obey
the will of God.
