Three Score and Ten + Day 76

Welcome to November, I always think of it as the beginning of the cold months. I can be Ice Fishing some years in November. But some how I am not as excited about ice fishing this year. Maybe that will change when the water has safe ice to fish. I hope so. Another thing I think about when November arrives, and that is putting the garden and yard to rest for the year. It is normally just before Thanksgiving here if south central. Wisconsin. Which leads to Thanksgiving day itself. It is my favorite holiday. It is most likely good driving weather. There is not all the hoopla of gift giving. It is a time we all sit together as a large family and share a meal while visiting. It is a simple less stressful day. I do really enjoy sitting together as a family to give Thanks for all God has provided us through the year. We give thanks for the material but also the Spiritual and gift of health. Our family is very Blessed.

I am saddened by what I think this Thanksgiving day will bring, A day of being alone with the wife, a dog and a cat. But we will still have Thanksgiving meal and give thanks. I hope November is all you want it to be.
