I remember a December night
when the stars were glittering lights
adorn the dark boughs
of a celestial fir tree.

I remember a December night
when the full cold moon rose,
a crystal ornament
shining down
on the new fallen snow.

I remember a December night
when charcoal clouds(/b)
gathered in the east,
and threatened to stop
Santa's Christmas flight.

I remember a December night
when an owl
serenaded us
beneath the Christmas full moon.

It's the holiday season,
