Okay, so here's the deal. This is the story of me. I'm warning you I always have something going on and something is alway happening to me although most of the time it's not major. ok, now that i have some back ground info on your boy, I can suggest this. He seems to simply be the hestant kind to me, so, maybe you need to wear the pants in this relationship and ask him yourself! What could it hurt? it's obvious that he won't do it, it's obvious you are sick of waiting, and it will help you to know whether or not to move on. yeah- you need to calm down and take a look at this from an outsiders perspective. this boy OBVIOUSLY isn't worth your time. and I know you probably won't listen, so here's a suggestion from the other side of the dream pool....have you ever thought that maybe you are coming an too strong? maybe your attachment is scaring him? perhaps he wonders in the back of his head, "if i ask her out, will she become possesive and jealous?" guys like girls they have to catch; they don't want it if you waltz right up and set it in their lap. men are competitive by nature, so; compete.
you need to drop him like a hot potato. I am serious. If he is treating you like a push over now, just wait until you are together! besides, if you go out with someone else...imagine what great jealousy revenge you can have on him! I would say, "look, if you can't make up your mind, i'm moving on; because my time is worth something." and leave it at that. You're only on this earth once, and any time wasted fretting over some boy who can't make up his mine is just that; wasted.
oh my. suicide is a serious issue, and the best thing you could possibly do for her as a friend is tell an adult. perhaps her parents, or someone who will get her professional help. if these feelings of sadness and thoughts of suicide have persisted for more that two weeks,then it is quite clearly depression. Once diagnosed and properly treated, she will be back to normal in no time. is there anything that has happened recently in her life that could have triggered it? anything traumatic, like the loss of a loved one or something? If not, sometimes it can simply be developed by the changes in hormones (lord knows teens are just a bunch of walking hormones!) and medication can help bring balance back to her life. sure, a lot of times tlak therapy can help, but real depression needs a medical aid of somekind to be controled. You may want to sit down and have a talk with her, express your concern, and then suggest she go see a professional. sometimes, no amount of peer encouragement will help. Sometimes, we need the assistance and aid of a proffessional and occasional medication.
