my holographic image, loose in the world.
This is a collection of chapters in the life of my holographic image, an entity I created who goes by the name of Holo-Zoo.

Holo-Zoo is not human. He's all electric and light, wavelength and pixels. I created him mainly as an experiment in tom-foolery, and as a way for me to discharge my unused brain power.

Holo-Zoo can do things that I cannot do. Since he can simply evaporate into thin air if need be, he doesn't seem to see the need to adhere to any real code of ethics, or rules of society. He has no emotions and so he isn't inhibited by things like embarrassment, or social paranoia, or love. He doesn't understand humor either (although he wants to badly), and is fascinated by everything, especially those intangible things that he doesn't really understand. But he's smarter than anyone I know, and doesn't hesitate to act on his ideas. He has the ability to amaze me, irritate the hell out of me, and impress me, at any given moment of any day.

Over time he has become my friend, my enemy, and even my golfing partner when I can stand to be around him for that long. He is generally a good-hearted individual, and by that I mean, he hasn't gone on any killing sprees yet. I created him, so I guess in that sense, I am his master. But I must always remember that he is a machine, and has no soul, thinks for himself, and is beholden to noone.

I hope you enjoy reading about his life, as he does his level best to screw up mine, even if his efforts are mostly unintentional.
