We poets deign
to maintain our
arcane affairs
and shoot glares when
one dares menace
the pen that shouts.

Autumn leaves
bid summer goodbye,
transforming purple mountain
majesty into flaming display--
red and gold.

Snowflakes dance

Sidlak poems have a strict structure of five lines with syllable counts of 3, 5, 7, and 9 in the first four lines. The fifth line presents a COLOR that portrays the whole poem or the feelings of the writer without any requirement on syllable count, as demonstrated in the following links:
