Hi Everyone, My name is Leigh,
...... and i'm a chronic....drug (coffee) addict, wine addict, writing addict, sleep addict, along with all the rest of the addictive stuff out there. ................................??
....Use your Imagination.....
This is apparently my blog. Never done one of these before... so hopefully I dont screw it up too much as I am quite prone to do.
From my understanding - blogging is kinda like keeping an online diary? That everyone can read? All readers need to keep my wee secrets!
LEIGH's DISCLAIMER:
Well - I've never kept a diary that EVERYONE can read before - so hopefully anyone who reads this doesn't get offended.
If you do - I will warn you now - there is probably more crap in here that you probably shouldn't read as well. Surprised?
I'm sure. Anyhoo. If you would like to know anything more about me - then have a read of:

DON'T STOP NOW!!! You are on an awesome roll! Serious work is called for now. I congradulate you on finishing those 50,000 words + but now comes the hard part - editing, wrapping it up and finishing the thing! hehehe...sounds like a lot of fun huh? Hey I really like Piers Anthony's letter to us during NaNo - which one inspired you?
i like writing articles and short stories over books. and to be honest, i have only written one book and it's in rough draft. i'm having a blast working on it though...tedious as it is. it will be FOREVER till its worth showing.
Leigh,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss of what sounds like a very dear friend and boss. The circle of life is never something fully understood and it normally leaves us asking questions that can never be answered. Take your friend with you each day for I am sure she is still with you.
Fellowship with your close friends will help as will writing. Please try to make the best out of this Christmas season and I will remember you in my thoughts.
Until things even out in China between the urban and rural areas, there will be this great migration. Beggers and homeless will be the rule not the exception.
What is startling here in the U.S. is that the numbers of destitute people have been on the rise. The social network ain't no more (it never was good) and more and more money is spent on debt and war.
Went to a slide-poetry presentation "Being in Beijing" given by Elizabeth Schultz here. She is a professor emeritus here and taught Spring semester at the university there.
She mentioned the smog, old trees, lack of ants, spiders or cockroaches, children playing and adults doing exercise and playing Go. Also the ring roads, three wheel contraptions of all sorts, the recycling of trash and rubbish, television 24/7, the willow-sweepers.
At least you got to go and can now be thankful for Shanghai.
