A journey into my everyday with work, school, husband and daughters.
It's my bubble, my rules so deal with it.

In my past life (when I was in college before) I was in the theatre department. I had big plans. I was going to NYC and going to work tech for shows there for a couple of years. Then I was going to settle down and marry another "actor" and teach high school drama for the rest my life. Things change.

I ended up with my childhood crush and we've been married almost 15 years. We have two girls who are truly my life. But him and I sometimes are not a great match. He's a police officer-very serious, logical, it's all black and white with no shades of gray. I'm very artistic. I still ended up with a degree in Art History and I still love the theatre and I'm passing that on to my girls. One is a dancer/actress and the other a singer/actress. There is always drama at my house.

I returned to school this week to start working on my master's degree. I am working for my stepdad in an office environment which I like-surprisingly enough. Things change. Life is, if nothing else, constant and continual change. You either do your best to keep up or you get tire tracks down your back.

I'm loving it

I have carried my blog over from blogspirit to writing.com. I like the freedom to be able to publish on multiple formats so the decision has overall been very easy. So welcome.

Not only am I loving the girls being back at school-they are loving it. Today is so quiet. It's just me and the cat. Ray went back to work today and he's back on the street till Tuesday (which he took off because he's taking the Sargent's exam). Then next Friday we leave for Vegas. Vegas is ok-it's not my favorite place but the shopping is good and I get to see my best friend. We're doing the whole spa thing so that'll be great. Thing is-I don't drink (a lot) and I don't gamble (at all). There's not a whole lot for me to do. I think we're going to see Phantom at the Ventian and Spamalot at the Wynn so that'll make the weekend worth while.

Kendall is loving LaVilla. She even asked me if she doesn't like the dance department could she switch at the semester change over to drama (God bless her little heart). Of I said yes, like in an instant. She's a good dancer but she has the makings to be a fantastic actress. Her facials are great! However, it's her choice and her life. I refuse to run my kids life the way my mother did my brother and mine (or at least she tried). Our local dinner theatre here put out their schedule for the season and they are doing The Sound of Music next spring. Erin is wanting to try out for one of the children's roles. I'm hesitating. I don't know-she'll only be 8. Which raises the question-How old do they need to be to try? I don't know because this is uncharted territory for me. I did not get into theatre till I was about 12 and I know people who came it even later. Lots to think about.
