Your tradition of the hike is a great one. As a fellow lover of nature there's nothing like being outdoors. Sure wish I had the physical strength ... and the healthy knees ... to do the same.
All very impressive -- the 28-year record, the steak and the poop! Not to mention the underwear! Beginning as a toddler, too. How young you are! I thought you might be a bit older than 30.

Still plenty of snow here, but alas no moose poop. I wonder if there's a moose poop scented spray available. I still have the samples Kare gave me, but sadly they have completely lost their aroma.
We have become an Apple family. Several years ago we bought Dells with the newly launched Windows Vista. What a nightmare. Later we turned to Apple computers and iPhones and have been very happy.
Have fun with your iPhone 5, I know we do. I could do without Siri though. I can go to the web and type my question faster than to sit there and wait for her say, "I'm sorry but I don't know what that means, do you want me to search the web?" She also has trouble with Debi's southern accent. LOL. Still, its fun asking her strange questions. Try asking her for a date.
Oh good lord, don't tell me you are one of those damn yuppies whose ear is constantly covered by his "Smart Phone"? Repeat after me: CELL PHONES ARE THE TOOL OF THE DEVIL! I do not own one, have never owned one and personally, I miss the reassuring sound the rotary dial makes when you MANUALLY dial a number.
Now....no more cell phone talk, mister. Go out and shoot a hippie and we'll forget this ever happened.
