You know what I love about this story and what I remember about the same type of early morning launch is military will eat with greasy, dirty hands. We do not care. If there is food and we have been on the flight deck, hangar deck or flight line for hours, we are going to eat when food is available and forego the handwashing. The reason there....by the time you get back from washing your hands the stuff would be all gone! Thanks for conjuring up a memory!
