FANDANGO MOVING ON UP! I-net BLOG/ Consider RE-OPEN 12 DAYS OF BLOGGING/ WINTER 2014

Due space ... cyber space, sillies @ a thing they call BLOG BOARD, am considering re-booting FICTION FANDANGO. Also, did find former arena for viewing latest blog creations from community members.  Who blog along @ the train we may dub http://www.writing.com. At that spot one may still find latest blogs by date & hour. This random thing that swept the site like a cow catcher, never cut it with moi.  Writing seriously comes @ a price.  Not costly in the least, instead a crux quite easy on the eye and mentally relaxing fer sure.

That's the craft for you --- when folks dedicate their works to a degree of ultimate impression for their audience. 'Random' applied like salvage for lackluster pieces clocks in as unfunny, uncanny sameness, tech gear only, buy-this-buy-that, keep up with the Jonses, be a married couple only, paint the white picket fence of online persona clone-ship is history. It always was for a talented ken of authorship. So, if boredom turns you on, personally can't even grasp the concept. Okay?

Previously FANDANGO underwent a major wash & dry, hung out to air since ... summer 2013, when blogs crumbled along with golden rod, last Autumn. A year before --- 2012 @ Teffom Estates came with discoveries which eventually tuned into major news events due revelations from Edward "Scissors hands" Snowden.  International press hounded the guy all the way to Moscow.  What he revealed to the American Public, due a closed and corporate owned media in the States ... went entirely unrelated to domestic spying. A blight on these shores, to be sure.

Suffice, IF TEFF rants, don't think she dislikes EVERYONE.  I don't.  I do run the EVERYONE contests and oh my --- have nerve to dub myself Prez @

Regionally we can only do our best.  Of course, thru our writing.  Most folks are not active protesters, another thing like even a hint of news (shunned onsite) remains in disfavor nationwide. Oh, yes, my pretties, tis in fact out there like a ground cover of wild geranium. Why, lucky we color ourselves when finding real news, these days.

EARTH DAY 2011: APRIL 22
"Invalid Item NEWSLETTER

Hey Club:

Subjects for April 2011's CLUB NL are as follows:

1. A Word on WHEN/ WHERE/ WHAT: Part of Journalism's FIVE W's*

(When? Oh, today. See, just messing around already. Heavens, you know how I am. HOW being an addition to Journalism's FIVE Ws.* Of course .. HOW --- still considerably iffy should reporters insert an opinion or go yellow journalistically or act prof blogger writing editorially to thy hearts content. This form aka Gonzo Journalism since The Seventies.

Once one reads as a journalist there's no turning back. However, among today's uppity challenges for news articles or network news comprehension ... cadging a full course in journalism, even at high school, college or night school levels is never considered a piss poor attempt to further enhance many a writer's venue. Can't hurt, right?)

Second Subject ---

2. JAPAN'S 2011 EARTHQUAKE & TIDAL WAVE

"Invalid Item APRIL NL starts here with adroit slowness.

According to controlled corporate media which includes basic online search engines, sorry to announce time recording for covering a major Earthquake Disaster and consequent Tsunami in Japan last month is wildly repeated as inaccurate across the globe and visible in text upon the worldwide web. Basically, WHERE any situation occurs is HOW one lists the time. JST -- Japanese Standard Time ...2:46pm/ Mar 11, 2011.

Whether or not this grave error, namely glossing over actual Japanese Standard Time shall continue to be tauted about like a release of more whiteout steam from ... Tepco reactor's catastrophic upheaval is, at best, the least of our worries in the Spring of 2011.

Tepco's near meltdown, and sure over five weeks portraying sparingly steps by steps are filtered across to us on one fantastic news show, available on Link TV: "Democracy Now!"

WHERE: JAPAN/ Mar 12, 2011
So for want of clarity --- let's go with Mar 2011's Nuke Disaster --- Which, know this is indeed causing acid rain around the world, due to trade winds not exactly standing still on any given date west or east of GMT.

Yes, Greenwich Mean Time and the International Date Line start to tell this terrible tale of the Mar 11, 2011 JST / 9.0 Earthquake, consequent incoming tidal wave, resulting explosions, contamination of: Japanese prefectures, The Pacific Ocean, Hawaii, Alaska, California, etc. Certainly, tens of thousands of citizens were killed outright or missing and perhaps presumed dead. (Footnote: NYTimes reporter, Ko Sasaki informs on Apr 21, 2011: "29,000 people dead and missing.")

Trauma is also evident among the population in Japan. Yet, please let me ask you. Do you see much sympathy on the tube?

Okay, from hand written notes, slaved over, filed in a vertical file for the SPRING OF 2011, this reporter turns first to GMT. Since that's how yours truly originally learned of the events taking shape before the world. Later, hand held cameras filming the tidal wave itself which reportedly was more than 150 miles wide were credited to additional information shared via what is now being dubbed independent video and blog sources. This may not be the case as we were led to believe. However, once The Guardian in the UK broke the news, NYT (The New York Times) followed. Alas, I read the time on my NYT News Alert as 1:46am as the E Quake news began to take hold.
(Footnote: Nowadays, try finding home made vids from the area not in the aftermath sequence. Breaking news vids are most unlikely not as numerous as implied at the onset of coverage.) Or, you may send them to me, please, should you know a linker-loo.

Enter Day Two: Mar 12, 2011 EST:

Suffice, when CNN covered the Tidal Wave and devastation of Japan's cities and town's --- anchors at the time and later --- highly credited what they more-or-less coined as "IReporting" perhaps meaning: Independent Video Live Stream. Huh? In short, wanting to learn as much as humanly possible on Sat. Mar 12, I slogged thru a four hour CNN special. The title was worded with: Japan Earthquake Special.

First: early on --- We knew the WHATs <<< Earthquake/ Tidal Wave >>> WHERE: Japan/ Asia/ Pacific & Pacific Coastlines

Collectively, this may have been a program boosted into the awakening world catastrophe limelight which more than one Club member had the unfortunate willingness to watch.

Philly burbs --- Mar 12, Sat ...

CNN'S shoddy, uncaring, unsympathetic anchorwoman is up on the screen from 10am to 2pm, EST without ever once extending any words in lieu of sorrowful asides. Not even the slightest phrase like ... our hearts go out to those affected. Not once. She's in a royal blue dress, her hairdo has a flip.

Scenes morph into the same film shown on many other cable news channels ... visuals which compel one toward finally realizing we're seeing men and women killed by the thousands, as opposed to subsequent, played down reports repeated on the radio as merely ... hundreds, the day before.

WHERE: Japan
WHEN: Mar 11, 2011, 2:46pm JST

Back to the Sat, (Mar12/EST) ... Then to my utmost discontent CNN rather materialistically adds a flair for mini films where young men or women echo fake shrieks while talking about fallen things inside pristine apartments. Picture frames are down on the floor, one fellow speaking in clear English ... shows an over turned easy chair in his living room. This is repeated at least three times during the much praised CNN Special. [Worse: by the next day, and following week, CNN correspondents begin complimenting themselves on their own website.] ... Look here @ cnn.com

WHO? WHOM? WHOSE in harm's way? Japan and her neighbors. Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Hawaii, etc ... all braced early on and braced on Earth Day, because of fallout.

WHO??? Well, in a tiny sense, shucks, us, but only as viewers. Is it as if we only have closed circuit TV? Real news, denied! We, too are about to be kicked out of the loop. Our American, corporation controlled, fat cat media will proceed to not report breaking news adequately once more. By using the pronoun we here, referring to audiences who pay stinky, high cable or Dish bills --- WHEN? March & April 2011.

DAY ONE: Here in the states, at Teffom Estates --- residents become somewhat galled by economic pundit info Re: Japanese Stock Market hypothesis before the sun reaches high noon the first day (Philly, EST, Mar 11)

ON CNN's EQ Special --- Commercial breaks increase after simple paragraphs or mouthfuls from a woman with puffy dark brown hair. She warns viewers to keep watching. She says: "We'll give you more details when we learn more."

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't ya think CNN has a Tokyo office? The country is not blacked out completely. CNN now seems to have somehow missed plenty of time to find out what's the haps over there. Sure, we know it's terrible. Neither are we ever asked to contribute ~~~ consider donating ... during the so-called special report. Overall, if we seek donation/ humanitarian info, along with a hell of a lot more RE: this story ... we might find spots later online if we wish to do so.

Over 119 countries sent letters to the Japanese Gov and people, volunteering aid, food, materials, medicines and assistance.

By week two, that humanitarian aid list grows to 126 foreign countries coming forth to help.

With barely a word in the mainstream, corporate owned and controlled US media, TEFF discovers a pledge from the US totaling $35mil.

Yes, The USS Reagan arrives in Japan --- from San Diego. See: Mar 13 article:

Carrier Reagan repositioned to avoid reactor fall-out - Address:

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/mar/13/carrier-reagan-pilots-deliver-aid...

News leaks immediately that the US Navy measures high levels of radiation in the atmosphere near the reactors. Tepco's illustrious achievement of placing six nukes near an Earthquake faultline which broke ground despite protests from the population nearly forty years hence is under duress. The latest major protests and petitions widely circulated in Japan in 2010.

With fears to tend its own shores, the USS Reagan returns ... press releases note fears of Hawaii being subject to another tidal wave. Yes, actually stated as the reason for our hasty departure. How many people left with the US Navy? Who sailed safely away from Fukushima in the form of mothers with children evacuating their homes, granted passage aboard is sadly not known. The USS Reagan's visit emphasizes extent of emergency unfolding via the high seas.

Next, in March 2011, approx one week later ... the US deploys 20K soldiers to help with cleanup. The USA keeps 50K soldiers stationed in Japan; some are quartered annually on Okinawa. However, for soldiers in action, on the ground, which is public interest we may as well just hold our breaths. The snidely cheapness, laziness and outright denial of what a US audience may want to see re: victims, survivors & humanitarian efforts undertaken and underway is pretty much hidden. Meanwhile ... these news bans continue into April. Sure, many people spend as much as two hours a day seeking their own damn sources for news. Shall we assert rampart uselessness of media gems --- 24 hour news services? Hell, yeah!

For a few days in March ... Cable news clips carry the same parking lot being cleared as our men in uniform center on one car being pulled from a slight stand of trees. And the trees are very green. Actually, didn't realize how early summer comes to Japan, in the last weeks of their winter. Plus, the scene also looks like this could be a sloping roadside in Newark. But hey? we are at network media mercy since Mar 11's US coverage ... at least on the East Coast.

Later, after snow whitens a horizon's worth of broken, helter skelter boards from flattened houses, I am inspired by what a reporter from the Yorkshire Post, Leeds, England supplied on Mar 11, 2011. TIDAL WAVE LEAVES NOTHING IN ITS PATH contains alerts warning other countries. Find: details for "Sendai, Japan being underwater." Note: "30' waves surge & 19 aftershocks." More importantly a touch which sets one's hair on end. AT: "The death toll mounted by the hour ... " ... as the Ocean claimed the Earth."   When I read this, I felt he was reporting a guess as to what needs be described, because he himself didn't have film clips at 6am/ GMT. Not too many folks can hold an Iphone in place during mini second landfall of any 45' to 60' Tidal Wave.
(Later photos are heartbreaking after the onset of the 9. Earthquake, showing devastation so vast. These are still online for Christ Church, New Zealand's Earthquake as well.)

Tidal Wave Terms: faster than a speeding bullet are not even favorable to curtail human life along with a way of daily life which was about to drown and wash out to sea.

RE: The AFTERMATH --- We might still see random pictures and listen to complaints about lack of food in Japan, where people are standing shoulder to shoulder inside cramped shelters, wearing masks. We may follow this current nuclear upheaval clouding their skies, lands and coastal waters. But pretty much for ourselves, bereft TV mass, mainstream media. In other words we are in a bubble now, whenever we can't depend on print or TV ... therefore searching for news which counts as credible.

When Chernobyl blew (for want of a better verb) back in '86, our Philly stations reported daily radiation levels here. Mainly, because these were indeed higher.

On Mar 28 a report came from official monitors. Yes, shared on msn.com/ Mar 28 --- RE: radioactive rainwater levels in Mass, PA, North Carolina, Oregon and announced. Apparently these measured stats showed higher contamination levels & presence in rainwater. Guess, what, Kids? That Mar 28 report included info for the week prior.

Cable news networks appear committed to passing the word from bloggers, independent citizen journalists ... but only on one day when they refused to offer condolences or recovery wishes to Japan's citizens. I call this insulting to Japan and to viewers alike. I vote we all say so WHEN sham reporting occurs. We may send emails. Like imagine .... "Hey, buddy --- Mind covering real news?" Instead we (as snatched audience) and they (as Japanese world citizens) were denied scenes by none other than the one who bills themselves as "the world wide leader in news." Okay, 'tis cnn's irrelevant logo phrase.

WHY? Well, back in 2007, the four year review from yet another ball busting, US Agency aka the Federal Commerce Commission ruled in findings that cable news, Internet, etc ... could be owned together by same companies + affiliates. Thus, overturning FCC laws formerly in place to remain committed to diversity between newspapers, magazines & radio stations. Which as a result could be purchased and owned by corporations. Thus monopolies took over the media. A protest ditty arose, which runs:
"Mass communication owned by the corporation spells death to democracy." Chant: 2007, aired on CSpan2.

Lastly, shame on CNN to hold viewers to the screen at the horrible expense of sensationalism while pretending to not have the full story.

There's another saying which runs: "Half a story is not a story. It is a lie."

Well, there's tidbits. Anyone can voice objections to these televised mogul sources, corporation channel sellers, whom remain in denial by not reporting very much at all. Well, you know how I am. Bogus writing advice drives me nuts. Crap ineffective news shouldn't be watched.

And on Mar 12, 2011, that CNN EQ non special re-aired at 2pm, thus during the next four hours repeating the same damn thing.
Thus concludes a special take on What/ When/ Where from the Five Ws inherent in standard journalism. Namely, who, what, where, when and why.

To my knowledge, WHY results in record views for CNN that particular day, higher Nielsen ratings. OF: What & WHY .. okay ... embarrassingly disrespectful methods CNN uses to sell cars has now come home to roost.

PNR in the Philadelphia area totally forgot all their Japanese American listeners whenever they quaffed as in the know by concentrating on Japan's stock market, by predicting sinking losses for the Dow.

Maybe, Reader & Viewer beware is in the air. Maybe Writer be aware is somehow out there. Let me know your favorite accurate source by visiting "Invalid Item again this year.

FICTION FANDANGO, A WRITER'S BLOG --- Opens with: Good morning to all readers. Likewise, please be assured you are most welcome to this port of call presented, often researched and crafted for your utmost reading pleasure.

Meanwhile: This blog is brought directly to you from MOFFETT PUBLISHING. Later on Kindle, as Amazon.com stands waiting most graciously, soon accepting and selling my works as they appear under the pen-name, Paula LaRue ... more shall become rendered via journalistic type pieces or new outreaches via short story spates.

Look forward also, my dears, to serials. Already in existence --- From the fiction pool, there are at least twenty short stories, owned and written by moi --- to be offered in the near future, all ranging from copyrights spanning the last decade. No lie.

Right now, kids, my fellow writers, sisters, anyone inside the realm of WE the People --- you too, are on the receiving end, always respected, oh my heavens YES!! & seated at the opposite side of this desk. ALL -- currently in a sense forming in my mind's eye --- into an audience, a fond readership consisting of all ages, from all walks of life.

Might we agree then --- What pops up from the public domain is indeed out there, often online? Important issues plague many during the month of March. On this blog, quoting standards found on Wikipedia will be adhered to, so don't fret the small stuff. (Offering the Wiki spot above for a how to for all bloggers or students. Because although research shall always indicate sources here, perhaps with links and citations, I for one note unusual e-differences via simple repetition elsewhere for what passes ridiculously for news.
Preferring terms current events or news commentary or --- maybe In The News. Yet, as a freelance, published journalist reporting since 1975 the so called "innocence of copy paste"* never impresses Yours Truly. More on that later from a writer who seldom shuts up. Best of all the mind blowing aspect, Fiction Fandango's now courting a prime time audience from all over the world. WOW!! Let it be known your patronage is duly appreciated. Thus concludes this brief introduction.

PS --- Nice to meet you. Do feel free to catch up on 2009-10 blogs below, many of which are still open for public consumption with a bit of post editing in progress.

Cordially Yours, Ms Paula LaRue
aka Mrs. Mary Moffett

Next Up --- FICTION FANDANGO wishes to extend sympathy for numerous victims, who lost their lives in the wake of the Japan tidal wave, earlier this month. To date, I have not seen a list of names of the fallen who died on Mar 11/12, Terrible tragic times for Japan's countrymen. Our heart goes out to these sorrowful, uprooted families, toward all victims, to those injured, hungry & suffering losses of their homes.

At my house --- There are sixteen pages of handwritten notes, many citaions to morph into related observations RE: this terrible tragedy outlined with a timeline, UP NEXT on this humble blog.

That recorded timeline is still under the microscope, researching additional info. Suffice ... Starting on Friday, Mar 11, 2011 --- While here in the states we witnessed our media outlets' shoddy attempts toward information on the topic, we might also demand at this time that all humanitarian reports of aiding the Japanese People also be aired. Sadly enough, due military air strikes in Libya last weekend, we are not privy to as much on the scene coverage & are in peculiar cases as customers of cable outlets, noting as concerned viewers we're being given --- actually less & less ongoing reports from Japan. In other words, we should dare to email those media who are gravely overlooking Japan's horrific, emergency status. From over here, on this side of the Pacific, where the word callous comes to mind as audacious cable news anchors seldom convey sympathy for the plight of Japanese residents ... at least not seen, nor heard on the tv enough, in fact rarely, yesterday, today or tomorrow.

Q: Why was & is the aftermath of this catastrophic, tidal wave which burst from the sea faster than a locomotive played down in an incompetent mainstream media? --- Uh, oh, that one -- Still remains an important question for those who follow & swallow the likes of foxynews casts. RE: Japan's 9. MAJOR earthquake & ensuing tidal wave -- hell yeah --- This is a huge tragic story encompassing more than eleven days in March, Twenty Eleven of daily trials for those in the throes of bereavement, embracing loss of normal life & facing adroit, abrupt homelessness while in the wake of the disaster facing radiation sickness.

Lastly, Godspeed to Japan. Reports tell us ninety-one (91! And there's no list showing names of the said countries ME: those generous, caring, helping hands across the oceans) ... oh tis said -- ninety-one countries came to your aide. Your cities have been flattened, the death toll is rising. While parts of your country sank into a state of fathomless upheaval. Amidst interment of your loved ones, we wish for you to prevail. Yet, many agree with your citizens that the most important thing is the health & safety of your children. And YES!!! the world shall help you. "In the aftermath of this catastrophe we offer you our sorrow and well-thee-must-be as you slowly rise from the depths of such a wide spread tragedy." April Sunday FICTION FANDANGO, OWNER

WISCONSIN NEWS WAVES ...

According to Center for Media & Democracy sources @ 2:30 am Feb 24/K11 ... reports flourish re: a Koch brother impersonator under the microscope of controversy. A named prank caller from Buffalo, who truly phoned the ---------- state's recently 2010 Gov and identified himself as a Koch brother. (Oh. much surrounds, and is well documented online and offline RE: this KOCH-WALKER contribution fuss. New guy in town, the new, standing up and dictating crazy non union laws, that new gov, Walker who shall we say walked into high office, only last year.

Now, thinking caps, kids, one may recall, throw the bum out legislation which ousted a gov of California with a funny voice, married to a Kennedy, yeah Swartznenager.

News feeds & relevant blogs dictating investigative results with media owned popularized ways of mixing it up, indeed include verbatim timelines for this prank. Whereas a fellow with a ton of nerve, a gutsy guy phones Gov Walker, claims to be a Koch Bro, whom is by all results, truly a Walker contributor ... uh and a regular repug. Walker that is. Prankster's voting affiliation party is unknown to Your Truly (ME!).

Safe to say, no secret to those in Green Bay, what?

The beat includes researchable news waves (online sources) chronological detail favoritism, with vested interest options as foul play. Now the repug polecats are being spanked via pertinent, put-the-lid on the juice finesse, from this audible phone call from ..

If one wishes to catch up see:
--- Has the The Koch Family contributed to Walker's campaign? YES!!! Did Walker walk into the gov's mansion last fall. Yup.

Whether constant denials from both players unravels this ongoing drama for the overall gain and stability for Unions workers, yesterday, today, or tomorrow is around the bend for Spring. Let's hope & pray for the love of God without taking to cutting union wages & benefits or working shifts ahead. That, that GOV cannot declare he is aware or unaware of Koch's deep energy distributing ties --- is ridiculous.

Yes, Walker easily gives it up, during this stupendous ruse, another flair for enlisting a position into the Prank Call Hall Of Fame. Fandango applauds this brand new, instantly famous prank call. Why, dear audience, Walker even cops to acceptance, via a phone call tape that he shall fly to Cally after crippling financial feasibility for numerous citizens, whom are entitled, patriotic & unionized unwilling to be crippled, according to Walker's agenda. All the unions. Imagine?

Walkers emails, calls, communication-wise requested, this week by protesters outside city hall. Madison, Wisconsin, the place. Overnight protests and invasion of said public space the gig going down.

As far as major, complimentary pranks measure, FANDANGO goes on record for Ian Murphy/ Buffalo Beast, online paper asking the question - "Holy cow, were you prepared or what? Excellent!"

He (Murphy) says, FEB 25, he was "wildly unprepared." Now that admission tickles me, and yeah, with a videocamera rolling & full audio. Of: Wildly unprepared, Fandango counter with, Yeah, right, Murphy.

Prank by reporter, Ian Murphy to Ta-hell-wit-unions, Royal, monarchy wielding, union contract breaker, Kingdom in the mental acumen of his party line, that, what I say goes, temporary boss of the bill maker's easy dreamland -- thee despicable, Gov. Walker is audible on that Buffolo Beast Prank, no lie.

Earlier in Feb that governor vows to bust em all up, spelling a state initiated cap on wages effecting citizens presently employed with companies that indeed recognize unionization statewide. Annually, decade by decade in the Great USA, advances in union recipient set wages, etc. are at risk in Wisconsin as we speak. Potential to the wisenheimer on anyone's beat, point of ref, WE the people are watching & want to hear protesters in opposition to this foul ploy from a brand new governor which is beyond audacious.

It is merciless to the economy from WE the people side logic and we spend to survive, ya know. Excuse me? Since I visit a library built by Andrew Carnegie, let me guess. Koch sells oil which heats homes.

So, does the plan become --- Ah, let me see, Yes, Mr Koch, I am in the Governor's bunker, my friend. So, let me see --- we take their, the ones we get? The workers? extra dollars saved per hour, then squeeze them out, raise the cost of utilities, heating prices ... pause ...

On a stifling, airless floor of the mansion, this schmuck recently calls home ... The awful (unwanted) governor glances at his portrait. Since, folks call him a bloodsucker, his handsome guy image is not available in his overhead mirror tiles. For once he starts to act a vampire, he became one.

THEN as the moon dives behind the clouds .... The phoneline buzzes with adroit fraud. As a tall, black jacketed suit, sees smoke coming from his 1940 black phone, cradled in his arm with glee. Heil Republican vested investor, mein palsy-walsy to yon Koch bloodsuckers on the loose, contributing, always handing out ad monies.

Then we too have created more empty cities or frozen people in the dead of winter? Hell, why not? (Giddy, with Brahms in the background, skipping around the dining table ensues ... Ya, we cut budget costs from schools & all our state unions. Don't worry, they'll only suffer collectively, together again like the past decades from many centuries, right?

Protesters arrived enmasse, shouting NO WAY!! to such a societal motivated argument, forsaking possible profiteering. While earmarked gain by even one is lawfully questionable in Wisconsin, the way FANDANGO calls it. One+ huge out-of-state based companies listed under the flag of the Koch Cartel.

WEBERS, sun dips slowly westward, wind down, snow & grass mix upon lawns all the way into town. Sunday's roast chicken ala carrots, oranges, dressing with a hint of curry & thickly sliced onions took hours off my novice writing life. Plenty to enter leftover zone. Maraud sez hey. He's lollygagging on the back of my cranberry striped monster recliner. From e.how spilled brief fifty word paragraphs with same-old-same-old re: publishing e-shorts. Almost flipped a gizzard when short story analysis arose like a hint of slime. So, novice, non prof, confused readers ... here's redundancy in its finest hour --- sounding familiar by review rules --- (Please, clones or live wires who breathe & pay taxes might cast nets of acceptance for review laws, even as givens.) Under short story -- wheel into the sunset, so so familiar --- WHO? c & p's same old for characterization, setting, syntax ... Ehow info dating to 2005, this morning almost upset Maraud. He took off a hooting how. ehow makes my cat howl. With a better day & lunch to be had by all --- We looked away in full retreat knowing that not all IT info is either all that, nor above ITself, namely: informative. Anyways it --- IT! can be wrong. Hello, not all IT is correct. Hello, there are kids in middle school who do believe that IF IT IS NOT online, Inet via (IT) --- it is wrong or irrelevant. Not good by any means.

So, there's things that as a short storyist grate my last nerve in the ehow howlies --- re: short story brief attributed to a few members. I felt that reducing as suggested --- to --- "simple sentence structure in action sequence" to be a bit bossy.

Well, maybe they caught my left eye patch @ diction requirements toward "rich & compelling words/ sentences -- generally FICTION FANDANGO uses content. That plunge into the how behind ehowling at the moon seems === totally written for non writers. Serious minded of the craft, clansmen * clanswomen recognize understand repeated bunk, rendered as if new ... useless toward publication quests, no doubt.

Research SUN, 2/20/21 soars out of control, my friends. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Tried IOBA --- on msn.com search engine. Independent Online Booksellers Assoc boasts 250 members. Twenty Ten and Twenty Ought Eight ... saw these modulate, calm wayfarers demanding via a tad more than bookish critique that the giant competitor,

Mr & Mrs Amazoni

??? WHAT ???

FANDANGO REVEALS (VIA RESEARCH BY YOURS TRULY AN ATTEMPT) WHAT?

AN ATTEMPT to corporate monopoly manners like etiquette @ a wedding.
SYNONYM? FANDANGO ... gulp, fans in the audience might ask --

TRY TAKEOVER.

Well, FANG-DANGO tongue tests: amazon, amozoni, macaroni ==== for want of a better surname for one online conglomerate, controlling amazing sales (& scams perhaps)

Also users of online pay methods, fer damn sure collects info on customers: banking(?maybe)

Along with mailing spots.

Customers were we?

While booksellers dabbling into membership inside the mogul minding, Independent Online Booksellers Assoc ... skate into the rink by writing to Congress for Fair Trade appeals.

In short, Amazon.com actually wrote to members of the IOBA with instructions on price setting aimed at their illustrious, mindboggling discretion to not really undersell the Big A.

An unknown unknown runs: INTERNATIONAL ONLINE BOOKSELLERS ASSOC --- membership can include your neighborhood bookstore.

Yeah, maybe that guy or gal or Mom & Pop cronies sell online ware. From DVDs to software, to out of date books.

For example, a known fact is most copies (either paperback or hardcover circa ...) of Robert Heinlein's STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND ... pulled (weeded is the Library term) from public shelves

... is generally unavailable to younger kiddies out there who POSSIBLY (although a longshot) might e-purchase a copy TO-DAY!

Or same deal from Barnes & Nobel and Albiris.

Of course, as decades gallop across a global time zone, less & less dwindles reading pleasure or self ed from entire populations.

Education wanes with e-reading only.

Okay? Thus, are we inside the surrounds for the DEATH OF LIT?

Yes.

Look, all TEFFY's goal yesterday morning seems to border on finesse.
So, if Amazon short storyists are selling their short stories on Amazon @ 49c per, why not take THE RIPPER RETURNS TO WHITECHAPEL COURT to the public domain for cash?

You see?

IXNAE on the offer, ay? Oh way back in 2007.

2008 'tis mentioned Amazon, post instigating a call for submission, consequently selling short stories it accepted, keeping a percentage for Big A coffers from a lousy 49 cent! Yes, per story.

Wait a second 1,000 sales equals $490. Amazon is totally amazing, aint it just?

Then, bam bam, t'ank you maam, program discontinued ... no longer accepting.

Submission department --- closed tighter than the narow-minded nerve to dictate prices?

With possible costs to each and every writer of the future.

Or print shops, or bookshops. Plus, music, maps ... etc, etceteras.

Submissions closed @ the Ig cheese, Amazon. Later opened up KDP --- Kindle Select for borrows.

Glad some folks are inline, lost in the amazing Sea Amaxzon Mon-aappolli tuning a dime now & again. How much commission for too little bothers some.

Others dream a nigh impossible American Dream.

SOME Score, either publishing houses or popular authors selling volumes.

For fictionists maybe ... One's Anthology 101 skills come next to mind. Buy em all, buy us, please.

There should be red plastic dimes reading: middleman with no respect on the flip side.

However, after that particular let down one thing led to another and now we question ... did authors miss a damn good thing here? Thus another Avenue Le Publication, as dry as a bone. Phooey!

AHAH! Hmm, just keep thinking, Butch ... What about all the other 250 ONLINE, certainly popular websites selling short stories?

INTERMISSION: BREAKFAST TIME
Gabby over eggs, cowboy coffee lean version, heavy on the store bought cream ...

Over here, Mr President. Name's Mary and yeah, pick ME!! (Note to editor of FANDANGO --- visit the closest one ... and ask in person @ Barnes & Nobel --- what is going on?

Anna search goes on? Thass okay, Mickey The Marauder sez he's up for riding in a shopping cart where everyday is a book extravaganza.

That tabby is a lot like moi so no telling what can 'appen from this week's hands on experiment.

Oh boy face to face once more, above a sea of long tables, reading stacks. I'll don my piper's cape and pillbox hat. Shall press my elbow length white gloves, shine my knee high black patent leather boots. Tuck my mini skirt behind the wheel of the Lamborghini De Ville, Bluebird Blue sheen, two seater, racing tires, ice encrusted bumper, which when negotiating snow piles, we dare not scratch.

Mick & me --- Hell, yeah --- We're off to greet local writers on writing event day, talk more talk, walk more walks --- hopefully together.

WE, THE PEOPLE === Way way back in the Nineties and for previous, glorious decades that flashed by to the tune of more than half a century ---

WE, THE PEOPLE who are enabled by LIT --- underwent and overcame --- fiction/ nonfiction per se.

BY Purchasing across the counter. Darlins!

You already are aware --- Since Late Eighties, still out there --- the one method, not the only online ken of today === to buy books for librarians purchasing books (etc) pointed to scheduled event days.

Picture a persnickety downpour, clicking heels, well shod tootsies,
BUSTLING BUYERS, ladies and men fighting for footing, circumventing crowds.

Recall places where customers on benches pull on plastic boots, matching clear, collapsible accordion style head coverings, running toward book sale signs enmasse?

Now, thass a scene.

At revolving glass doors watch for new arrivals when busloads of these well groomed, intelligentsia alight bearing gunnysacks, suitcases, sturdy shopping bags.

Sure, some bent to the task, gray haired, determined. Many faces spell feisty, all edging forward as if shoes were going for a quarter per pair.

Enter this quasi look back foray (still the haps .. coast to coast.)

Allow thine eyes divulge dedicated book buyers pushing expandable wire mesh pushcarts. The only thought for the term spectacle that day was the outmoded monocle or rare magnifying glass with ivory edges.

VIVA bookfairs. VIVA materialized bookmarts. VIVA the corner bookshop on yon High Street.

Perhaps, recall --- Holding the first heavy one on the list, crossing off the title ... ahh, the true good old days. Time well spent reading colorful jackets. YES!!! THERE TO-DAY!!!

What say you, Miss or Mr FANDANGO visitor? Is this Librarian type take on a novel shopping spree really gone? All Gone?

If so, whose fault is that?

Friday, FEB 18 briefly meets Spring 2011 stats. Oh, howdy. Imagine, the Boston Review makes mistakes! Were you just dropping up the house? 50 mil US hungry/Are you ready? Please hit more to enter this blog lllllllllllllllllllllllll lllllllllllll lllllllllllll lllllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Okay, yesterday's FANDANGO discovery still leaves me in tears knowing better, as in remarkable tales via short story format is disrespectfully wavered when crap is awarded. On Topic, a future headline from "Invalid Item may read: THE BOSTON REVIEW GUILTY OF LOW STANDARDS. More later perhaps.

After blogging, yesterday dawned fantastic as far as weather calling one outside. All fun had by all, felines & humans alike, I tell you true. So, left the blog yesterday --- bathed, shampooed, thought, relaxed after my 7am to 10am writing stint, went to the cellar, put in the wash. Emptied a deep purple, plastic jug of EXTRA laundry detergent into four containers, added water to all, by half. This is the only brand, we find lends itself to the process known as watering down. Waited for wash, let cats out, watched Whitey sniff our entire porch, saw Mickey near catnip beneath snow, ate brunch: half hoagie roll filled with TEFF's Delicious Chunky Tuna salad, sweetened with apples. Raked some leaves over starling remnants: eggshells, wilted lettuce, etc. Found a live nightcrawler .. a good sign. Hang wash, run all over the yard, find: catnip, Iris, wild daisy, wild parsley -- greening up. Realize 'tis still FEB, refuse to touch one thing presently undercover in our mulched gardens Yikes, fall into an abyss -- tiny one, one foot wide, which let go when bouncing across two foot of organic mulch covering all abstractive, prolific garden beds. Sleeping now near: front porch, kitchen window, iron fence garden, along Teffom Estates courtyard, adjacent to our sunroom. Many neighbors outdoors. Simply standing around, yet folks braving it fully wrapped head to toe, riding bike or walking hand-in-hand with little kids attached. Creator SUN burst spectacular, blessing mountainous clouds as great spans of bright sunlight fell to Earth, warming. Pleasant winds arrived with tantalizing downwind. Winds out of the Northwest, among the finest this side of Kansas crept onto dried lawns amid nearby properties, bringing air so fair & blustery like March addiction creeping under the skin, fluffing thy tresses, bespeaking of hope at the end of winter. Yes, Early Spring in one day! Here to stay, just like traditional short stories, mon amis.

FYI -- This year, 2011 --- Another popular writing contest added 500 words, for the first time surpassing the standard call for contestants with their ever-popular 3K word cut off.

Then surface handwritten notes for future edits at 4:30 pm. Post dishes done, defrosting, flipping burgers so fat, the bread chunks are browning. Then another huge clothesline worth dragged inside, folded, stashed. Plus, now Teffy's tum beckons, arthritis sets in, two keyboards loom ...

An earlier guess this week, since, no way can one establish dependence on what was written more than a year ago. Vertical Files are better, indeedy, yes. Can't easily locate failing, copybook or statistics*** or notations on fly high scrap paper.

However, previously this week ... FANDANGO estimated 20 million hungry Norte American from a fifty state tally for 2009. BEEEEEEPHH -- Wrong, sorry Alex.

Stand corrected .. US Statistics via US Dept of Agriculture confirms during 2009, (NOV 17) that there were reportedly 50 million hungry US citizens in 2008.

Now, fly over there. There are no stats on the same topic, nor is it reported, carried on that website, a incredible, US record producing branch. Uh oh, simply unknown exactly how many households went hungry during two previous years. Namely:2009 & 2010 are not recorded. This is another first in US History perhaps. US STATISTICS recently admits monthly that they do not have new figures since 2008. Jesus, people, didn't we pay for another nationwide census in 2010?

Hello, my fellow Countrymen and Countrywomen --- who in the hell didn't
see that coming?

Then dived into a spell check for a few writing things while listening to a MIDSOMMER MURDER DVD, watched via mirror over desk. Kept all doors, windows open, fed cats, Re-read contest stuff from handwritten notes. Enjoyed last night gazing at a brilliantly full FEB moon. Yeah, crashed at 9pm. Currently ---> Still watching another dedicated, MOFFETT moon in the morning early. Bloggin, flogging, lollygaggin & writing takes tons of clear headed, purposeful time. Which extenuates an ongoing premise of purpose spelling pay me, buy me, pretty please ... as this short story tract goes on. Guess what mild temp geeks? FEB 18, 2011 was the first time this crazy lady ever hung wash outside which dried during the romantic month of FEBRUARY ... on the same damn day --- not here in this state anyways. 30/all
Arrivederci. Have a nice weekend, darlings.
