This is a short story I wrote back some time ago. I am a fan of jeff strand and wanted to write a humerous horror story for myself. I enjoy those sittly stories ones that you know for a fact cannot possibly ever happen and there is no explanation why. I never like to explain why things happen because I am the type of reader who dosen't need facts. Just relax and believe for a little while is my policy

I've been busy writing a new story and reading the new Stephen King book 'Under The Dome' and you know how big those are. Is anybody else reading it? While on vacation I rummaged through my mother in laws book shelf looking for something to read and I came across a Nora Roberts book. So I thought I would give her a shot. I've never read any of her stuff. I considered her primarily a romance writer and never gave her a second look considering I read mostly horror and a little sci-fi but she surprised me. Right now the book I'm reading is about a witch who seems to cast spells on surfers. Hey this is right up my alley. I love this stuff. I also saw a tv movie based on one of her books called midnight bayou or something like that which was about a haunted house. She definitely knows how to keep a reader in suspense and she is very simple to read. I will have to seek out more of her books. thanks for stopping by.
