As I gaze out of the window,
the starry night sky peeps at me_
unfurling a realm of mysticism:
the internal calling.

I wonder if I could reach
out to the endless, black canopy,
touch the twinkling, little stars;
smile with the gleaming night queen.

I wish I could float
in the navy blue lake seamlessly.
I wish I could make an acquaintance
with the radiant moon.

Alas! all my desires turn futile
for I realize that they are far_
light years away from my grasp
just like our Omnipotent God.
