I knew Mesopotamia was responsible for all the bad rap our humankind has been getting. No wonder, it is still messy there.
I have heard about the Anunnaki women, and I have met many who believe the earth was settled by aliens. Then, biologically incubated! It must be the reason some of us look like apes.

My first read. Like your style and definitely will come back for more.
As to this posting, I'm thinking that that was a long and real tasty course of appetisers, but the real meat on the bone is where the final paragraph winds up.
Personally, I think in months and perhaps years to come, a lot of questions will be asked, a lot of answers thought of, and when the dust settles me may know and understand just what really filled up that powder keg set off in Minneapolis.

We might have spotted a thousand indicators along the way, over the past decade. Smaller stories buried away in the middle of that "long march through the institutions." The rioters are hardly institutional. But I think they are the minions, of the cadres, trained by'thinkers' who came up with what they thought were bright ideas all the way back in the 1960's.

Anyone can be a fan of Hendrix, and think that playing 'air guitar' is as good as the real thing. Apparently it's just that easy to become educated now, or so it seems.

I am with you on this. I think the Left is doing everything in their power to make this President's work unsuccessful, and I especially resent the "resist" order from the top and the anarchy and division it has caused.

I am an independent voter and I am not liking what I see one bit.

Hello Percy
I enjoyed your blog and the comparison that were made. I think you have a point when it come to links in the chain, but I don't necessarily agree with the conclusion. I believe those who enjoy hunting don't use semi automatic weapons to kill their pray. I don't think semi automatic weapons are needed in the general public. The proliferation of these guns have caused a great deal of problems, not only with school shooters, but gangs and other individuals. I may have my head in the sand but I don't believe we are going to attacked and if small groups come ashore to cause havoc and destruction we have the police and FBI to rely on. This is a good article and very thought provoking.

Funny, I used to be quite a liberal, too. Though not the kind of a liberal who would blindly vote for someone who never really liked women or cared about the minorities even if she insisted she did.

Because of the way the Democrats have changed their party as you pointed out in detail and the way they have acted as such sore losers, I may never vote for Democrats again. Then, whoever did the hacking, they didn't make up the e-mails or the other facts; they brought into open what was already there.

A Passion for something I have no Aptitude for

Sitting in my garage at the present time under the spotlight there are 3 Kawasaki Bighorns and 1 Bison. The difference between the two models is that the Bison was 250 ccs and the Bighorn 350 ccs. Other wise they are pretty much identical. They are all in a pretty sad state and only 1 is close to having the engine started. Still they are complete bikes and three have good compression with one that won't turn over due to something being stuck inside.

I have two friends who live close by. They could not be more different. They are both mechanically gifted, one being better educated and the other never graduated from High School. For my part I have a passion for motorcycles but not a great deal of aptitude. Like many challenges I have faced in life, this is one of those I really have to buckle down to master and even then "True Understanding" comes slowly. It does however, eventually trickle down.

One of the techniques I use to foster understanding is to take the diagrams from shop manuals and enlarge them up to tenfold. One can do this by taking a diagram to Stapes and having the girl behind the desk do it for me. It costs about $15 a diagram but it sure makes it easier to understand for example a wiring diagram. At first glance they look daunting but blown up are much easier to read and understand. So that is what I did this morning, had three of them enlarged. Coming home I got some spark plugs and we picked up the Nissan for the trip we plan to take soon.

Then I dropped off some tools I borrowed from Al and stopped by Dennis's place to chat. This evening I drove motorcycles around the block to give them some exercise. I have over twenty so that can be a lot of exercise.
