Many of the fairytales are twisted. Whether they were meant to teach or warn many just give nightmares. That we remember them into adulthood and beyond is a tribute to their power. I would hope that poems I wrote for certain people would be remembered.

Yes, it sure would be wouldn't it? Oh, the stories they could tell if only they spoke 'people.' Humans do strange things to themselves, too. We shouldn't judge.

Woo hoo! Congratulations on landing the job! That's awesome news!

I only get about six hours of sleep a night. I suppose I should go to bed sooner because I always seem to wait to go to bed until I have to drag myself. I clearly wait too long.

A Week of Island Time

PROMPT May 12th

What TV show character would it be the most fun to change places with for a week? Why?

Oh! This would be too much fun! I would most certainly switch places with MaryAnne on Gilligan's Island. As long as it was only for a week. I only want it to be a vacation, I don't want to be stuck on that island for too long. I would get to drink coconut drinks and spend the days on the beach and in the lagoon. I could eat coconut cream pies and have all kinds of island fun! I would want to pick the week I would spend there though. It mustn't be a week when the headhunters aren't on the island. Oh, and it can't be when the strange doctor is there and switches everyone's minds and bodies. It might be fun to be there when the pilot "Wrongway" shows up. Maybe I could help build a raft. I might be able to attend the Howell's Masquerade party. Yup, I want to go to Gilligan's Island and enjoy the island vibe...but just for a week!
