Always --- Yours Truly might be baking, arranging dry flowers, brewing tea, or cooking up a storm. Maybe this blog owner's quietly reading a stack of library books or knitting for a NY bookstore. Keeping warm and cozy with an author's schedule creating short stories eventually filed along the lines of, thank goodness more --- Completed Fiction. I'm relaxed and happy and hope this audience is the same. Variety is a wonderful gift.

I remember vividly the day my son left my home when he enlisted in the Navy. I cried the whole way from the bus terminal where he took him because I knew the gentle boy I adored would be different when he returned. The next time I saw him in his uniform, he looked quite dapper in his dress blues, but I saw changes. I've seen many changes over the last 22 years in this boy, but there is one consistent. His belief in our country has not wavered; he signed his name on a dotted line to protect and honor us all. This duty he takes to heart every day without question. There are many men and women like him in our Armed Forces.
What scares me is the number of people in our world with an entitlement mentality. They don't respect the sacrifices made, so they have what they take for granted every day.

I'll wait patiently to see what Bartlett discloses on the quote since I do enjoy seeing writers research answers and develop their writing.

Yikes! Truth be told music makes me dance. Housework is a bit out of the ballpark for well executing the Johny Dep Step or the Hugh Grant Stair Climb.

Which is why I took this house, plenty of room to ssssssssssslllliiiiiiidddddddddddddddddeee.
