This is where I express my feelings, thoughts and views on various matters.
I agree with the idea that the way one expresses one's self through speech, gestures, likes and dislikes among many other things depict his/her personality.

I got further evidence of this as I skimmed through the portfolios of many of my fellow members here. Just looking at the type of pieces they create and the titles they assign, we can guess a lot about the writer. Of course, the style of writing and narration gives many hints too. Thus, this makes our writing a part of who we are.

This is just a passing thought I had just now. *Smile*

At many points of my life, I wish I could rewind back into time or sometimes fast forward too (Maybe this is was the inspiration behind the creation of time-travelling fiction).
So if I want to go back and change something in my life, it would be to first to boost my self esteem and self confidence, which has prevented me from catching many opportunities in life.
Other than that will be to -

1. Say all those smart comments, which had eluded me during different situations
2. Assure myself that I can blow a bubble from a bubblegum one day. *BigSmile*
3. Tell myself that I'll find someone one day who thinks the world of me*Heart*
4. To enjoy my skating and drawing when I could, because in the future I would have to leave them.
5. Play volleyball twice as much
6. Get out of the NCC (National Cadet Corp) course. All that march past was not worth it.
7. Enjoy home food, as I will have to eat insipid hostel food later!

I like the autumn season better than any other season.*Baretree2* Yes, its the season of dying leaves, but the trees with*LeafO* yellowing and rust coloured leaves*Leaf2r* hold a certain charm. The whole landscape is as if it is painted in a different hue.
I feel as if the fall holds a promise to a fresh beginning, with all old worries, troubles and despairs buried forever.

In holistic terms, this season teaches me to let go of things which I cannot change, like my past.

So what is your feelings towards the autumn season?

Today was my first day of internship at a school for special children. Though, three fourths of the day was gone in solving a glitch at getting permission for doing the internship at that institute, by the end of it, it was totally worth it. *Smile*

My friend and I were assigned to a little classroom of five kids having multiple disabilities. Each child's mother was there to help the child with the classroom activities.

As my friend and I entered the room, one of the children became excited and started screaming 'Hi, Akka' 'Hi, Anna' (Akka and Anna are our vernacular terms for an honourary elder sister and brother). We were happy by the rousing welcome we received. However, the child could not concentrate in his activities, with us in the room.
Another kid kept turning back and looking at us with his huge, almond shaped eyes. I smiled at him, but he was satisfied with only looking back at us with curiosity.

The children were given simple tasks to do such as sequencing the events of a picture story and most of them did them well. There were smiles on their faces whenever they were given a verbal praise.

But one sad thing I noticed was that the children had the urge and enthusiasm to speak out, but only unintelligible sounds and blurbs came out.

I do look forward to helping these kids.
