About me:

I'm not really a blogger... But I do like to put the world to rights and you can bet I have an opinion on most things.

I'm a little Welsh dragon that left the Land of My Fathers far behind me. I've flown far and wide.... and ended up
in the land down under

This blog is filled with all the stuff that's going on in my life, and in my head, which can be a little cookey on

Great entry. Yes, we all feel shame sometimes, but its harm depends on its degree. You put your finger on an important aspect of anger caused by shame, too, which is transference. I tend to think that most unusually aggressive behavior is or could be the result of anger and shame.

I don't like the fear that leads to hate especially about other people's personal lives. And I agree with you that excess fear of snakes is displacement or something to do with learned behavior Once people learn that they usually give up on their phobias.

Great story. It is interesting that people think my name is male. I don't know what about it gives them that impression. A girl asked me where the tag was in my underwear to prove I was female. LOL Crazy.

Great entry. You sound like a Stevie to me. Anytime I hear the name Stephanie - I think of the 80's movie Short Circuit - when he shrieks out "No Disassemble, Stephanie". It has always amused me. I'm easily amused.

When I go over newsfeed and see your handle sometimes I always think it's some dude posting blog entries and I always mouse over your case and realize it's woman because I remember you when we just joined WdC in 2013

Lol... No one can pronounce my surname... it's so funny. For some reason they always try and say it like there is an "R" in it after the "A". People are also always miss-reading my email address at work, so I get a lot of emails addressed to "Di" or "Stefano", and then there are those people that get completely confused with the spelling, and spell my first name "Stefanie" as there is a "F" in my surname... Muppets... lol

I know the dragon is so cute. It's a red one cause I'm Welsh - we'll just forget that the one of the flag doesn't have yellow wings...

Sorry about your father. I agree that taking extra steps to solve the unsolvable may bear fruit at the end, but I also think, we'll all have hurts inflicted on us by other people, as unresolved issues, which we cannot do much about.

I love the ship analogy! It's so true. I also love the sentiments about your husband--I feel the exact same way about mine! His success is mine, and vice versa, so we lose nothing by encouraging one another to be more and do more.
