This is a blog documenting my writing time here and in other platforms. I'm beginning to find my voice and the topic is becoming more clear. I intend to make this blog an educational forum for new writers who want to successfully promote their writing and build an audience with blogging as a tool. I learn new things every day. My approach to writing is enthusiastic encouraging and, hopefully, uplifting. That's my mission statement to my readers. As I learn I'll share. Let's grow together.

1. If you could have any result you wanted without failure, what would you want to accomplish with your writing?
I really want to be a travel writer and photographer - I would love to be moved out of Pennsylvania where I want to be in the Midwest and pursuing a career as a travel writer with books in every library, book store, and eReader.
2. Why is that result so important to you as a writer?
I've started self-publishing at age 18 and have been somewhat successful. I don't look at fame as the end result of success - but I would love to help people choose vacation locations and show with my words and pictures the beauty of every place.
3. What would that result change in your life or how you approached writing?
Hmmm... I'd probably have to travel more and take more risks.
4. What obstacles must overcome to reach that result?
Risk taking (not too much of a risk taker) and venturing out once I have the money to do so.
5. What are your most important questions about achieving that result?
Is it hard to start off in a magazine? Can I progress from magazines once I have the experience?
1. If you could have any result you wanted without failure, what would you want to accomplish with your writing?
That domestic violence would vanish completely, actually all directed violence to women/men and the innocence children who can't escape.
2. Why is that result so important to you as a writer?
I was abused, I was lucky, I escaped. So many do not and my heart breaks for them. Silence enables it to continue, so I am hoping by everyone's awareness it will end.
3. What would that result change in your life or how you approached writing?
There is honor in knowing you spoke up for what you believe resulted in change. I would continue to write, fighting for the changes I feel are important to our society.
4. What obstacles must overcome to reach that result?
My writing is improving and I am gaining an audience. Everything improves with hard work and commitment.
5. What are your most important questions about achieving that result?
What all writers ask? How do you know when you are ready to publish, to turn your thoughts loose on the world?
Hmm, I suppose I may have to provide some technical information in the future if my articles keep going in this direction. Perhaps it's the vocabulary I'm using that confuses you. What I mean by side bar is on the right or left side of the page there could be a plug-in that shows archives, months or even categories. It's up to the writer how they want to present their material. It could even be at the top like a menu. But the intent is to show the categories where you classify your articles.
For my blog It would be: Audience, Content, Promotion/marketing and educational. I'd file each of my articles under one of these categories and the reader would simply click on the menu tab to see the articles under that category.
