The day after I prayed the sinners prayer I wondered what had changed in my life.
What Changed

At first everything was very confusing.
There was a lot that I didn't understand.
I never wanted to pray so I never really learned
how to.
There is a big difference between saying a prayer
and really praying a prayer.
How many times have I said or read a prayer
without putting any feelings into it?
You learn to pray things because that is what is
expected of you.
When we pray to our heavenly Father,
we are suppose to say it with some feeling and trust
in God.
We are asking him to give us something.
We want him to love us,
in turn do we love him back?
When you receive something from God,
are you really saying your prayer with some
feelings.
Thank you, Father, I love you.
How many times do we say the Nicene Creed, with no feelings?
We say it with no meaning at times.
What a difference it is when you have asked God, the Father,
Jesus Christ, the Son. and the Holy Spirit, to come into your life.
When we do, we are asking him to take charge of it in
our thoughts, our words, and our deeds.
What does "hallowed be thy name"
really mean?
Do you know?
"thy kiingdom come, forgive us our trespasses, give us our daily bread,
lead us not into temptation, and deliver us from evil?
Are you just saying these words like I was at times?
I had to forgive me, before I really understood.
Unless you have completely put your trust in God,
are you really praying the Lords Prayer or just saying it?
Then in your heart, do you believe that you are saved?
Do you question it?
Do you forget your sins after you have asked God, the Father
to forgive you?

Trust God with all your heart.
What powerful words these are.
God doesn't dwell on our sins, He doesn't keep playing the tapes
over and over again, like we do in our minds.
          What does repent really mean?
Can you say: Father, I love you, after you think that you have repented?
Do you feel God's wonderful love?
Do you really want to know him?
We are able to know him by reading his words and really studying the Bible.
Are we studying the Bible or are we just reading it?
How do we know the difference?
If we really believe your Father's Word than we are reading the Bible
in know more about him.
I have found that the words read themselves to you.
The Bible becomes a fascinating storybook that you want to pick up over and
over.
If we haven't really put our trust in our Heavenly Father, than we read
it for a while and put it down.
We glance through it like glancing through a newspaper, we read a certain
page and then put it down.
          We are left empty inside.
We are taught that we are to read the Bible.
Is that to read the Bible from cover to cover and then put it down?
Well, I've read the Bible now, I won't have to do it again.
         What a shame.
How many times do we cry out in times of need?
We think God, where are you?
I need help, where are you?
After He has helped us, do we really believe it was from him,
or just fate?
          Father, help me.
What powerful words these three simple words are Father help me
in times of need these words may be all we need to pray.
When it seems that God isn't answering, put yourself in his
shoes for a minute.
What if God is shouting back : Yes son, or daughter, I am here.
I know your thoughts, your needs, your wants, and your heart's
desires.
Yes I am here-right by your side.
At times I might be holding your hands, drying your tears.
He tells us to read his Bible.
Why? So we can know him.
So we can understand him.
How wonderful it is to really be able to understand
his Bible.
Are we able to read the Bible once?
It must be done regularly.
God reads our book everyday. It is open.
Are we open to God's love, to his Word?
Are you able to say: Father, yes, I love you with
all my heart, body, and soul.
