Oh this is so sweet. What a unique use of the prompt and the theme of a handicap and how parents might feel is inspiring. I didn't see the word "Piper" anywhere though the story fits the concept.
I'm glad you loved them, iKïyå§ama! I had a lot of fun writing this one, and it wouldn't surprise me if they did show up in some other stories, or maybe their own novel one day.
I'm a little slow in responses, but thank you all so much. This was my first jump back into writing, and it helped that I could channel some of my own dancing experience. This challenge is really helping to get back into the swing of things.
