Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| Went to my fiancé's yesterday. Spent some quality time with him. Had dinner there. The chicken was a bit spicy, but okay. Just going to relax today. |
| Later today, I going over to my fiance's to hang out. That's why I'm doing all my writing early. |
| Victoria Day Weekend for me was a quiet one. I was still recovering from the flu. Today, I did some shopping. For now on, I'm getting my snacks at Dollarama. It is cheaper. I then went to McDonald's and tried their new fish 'n chips. It is pretty good. |
| It was hell on earth for me the last three days. I caught the stomach bug earlier this week. I'm still a bit weak, but I'm getting my appetite back a bit. I went to the store this afternoon. It was a beautiful day. |
| On Saturday, I went out to lunch with my fiancé. Yesterday, I went to church and enjoyed it. Now that my ears are cleaned out, I've been enjoying life more. |
| I went to the doctor yesterday and got my ears flushed out. My left ear is still clogged, but my right ear is clean. What a difference. I got the t.v. volume back to normal. The bad news, I got rained on on the way home. |
| I went downtown today to pick up my tax return papers. I then went to Tim Horton's and got a pleasant surprise. I was sitting at a table, having my coffee when my fiancé came in. I stayed and spent some time with him. He starts his new job tomorrow. |
| Did a little bit of shopping today. I then went to Rallie's Burgers and got a large fries and a can of Coke Zero. |
| Saturday, I watched a lot of soccer. Later, I hopped on my new scooter and went downtown. The scooter runs great. I went to church yesterday to help out with communion. The minister had me hold the chalets. I held on to it with dear life. I was scared that I was going to drop it. I came home and had a nap. After I woke up, I hopped on my scooter and went to McDonald's for dinner. |
| I finally got my new scooter. I got it this morning. It runs good. Yesterday was my birthday. To celebrate, my fiancé and I went and saw "The Avengers, The End Game." The movie started a half hour late due to technical difficulties. After I got my scooter this morning, My sister-in-law took my sister and I to lunch at McDonald's. My sister gave me two note pads and a package of pens. |
