Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| I was planning to go to the library today, but rain is on the horizon. It is supposed to rain tomorrow too. Right now, I'm listening to 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston and have the t.v. on in the background. |
| Earlier today, I went and bought some groceries. I started listening to a Boston sports radio station online. I kind of like it. |
| Yesterday, my fiancé, his parents and I went to the trunk sale. I bought an Austin Matthews plaque and a Blue Jay's t-shirt. We then went and had breakfast at the Red Harp. My fiancé and I had chocolate chip pancakes. We also had a glass of orange juice. We then went to Canadian Tire where my fiancé and his mom bought me a fan. When she gave to me she said here's a present for you. I thought she was joking. so much so, I gave it back to my fiancé thinking it was for his dad and said no. It's for you. The fan is great. My den is much more cooler now. After I got home I had a nap and woke up under the weather. I went to bed early last night. I feel much better today. |
| My fiancé phoned me up last night and asked me if I wanted to go to Timmy's. I had a tea and cookie. I played MLB 2K08 on my Wii last night. Going to watch the Blue jays play the Yankees tonight |
| I'm not going anywhere today because the forecast called for rain. It just started to pour just as my sister was about to go to work. Thankfully she has an umbrella. Baseball is back tonight. Just one game. The battle of Texas. Astros verses Rangers. |
| Went to the library again. It was pretty quiet, which I like. I watched the All-Star Game. It was good, considering it was just exhibition. The American League won 4-3. |
| I did a little shopping today and got lunch at McDonald's. I later went to the library. Man! I remember the days when you had to be a certain age to go into a library. There was a kid about three or four years old there today running around and making noise. Fortunately, his mother noticed what he was doing and stopped him. It is ridiculous now. A library used to be a quiet place. It did, however, did get quiet around 3:30 p.m. |
| I was going to go to the library today until I remembered something. The library is closed on Monday's. A lot of businesses on my side of town are closed today. It sucks. |

| I was planning to go downtown to pick up some snacks at Dollorrama, but the weather is unpredictable. i decided to stay home. I was relieved to find I have some extra money in the bank, but not too much. i can't over do it. |
