Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| The last two days were quiet. I had a lot writing to do today, though. It is supposed to be bad tomorrow weather wise. |
| I watched two soccer games today. Not much happening here. Really quiet. |
| What a day I had yesterday. I went shopping then I spent two hours doing the Kettle Drive for the Salvation Army. Unfortunately on my way home, my battery died on my scooter. My neighbour had to come and get me. He told me that batteries die fast in cold weather. I'll keep that in mind for now on. |
| I stayed home today. I'll be busy tomorrow so there might no writing from me. I listened to Football Ramble today. Another great episode. |
| Yesterday, I was busy with the Kettle Drive. During my post, the Salvation Army got at least $20 in five dollar bills. I work again on Tuesday. Earlier today, I went to Harvey's with my fiancé and his parents. I watched two soccer games online after I got home. I now have it on the Grey Cup. Keith Urban just finished the halftime show. |
| I'm starting the Kettle Drive earlier than expected. There was a cancellation. I start tomorrow. Earlier, I went downtown to pick up water. I also picked up a few other things. The snow is gone for now so I can use my scooter. |
| My fiancé starts his new job tonight. He is working as I write this entry in fact. He's doing janitorial work at a high school. The Salvation Army's kettle drive started today in my town. I was called to do it today, but I didn't hear the phone because I was in a deep sleep. I start next Tuesday. |
| My sister woke me up to inform me that she bought McDonald's for lunch. Didn't take me long to jump out of bed after I heard that. I also watched a FA Cup soccer match. |
| I spent the late afternoon with my fiancé and dinner at his house. Today, I just relaxed and watched soccer. The Leafs play late tonight so I wasn't in a big hurry to write the preview. |
| Not doing to much today. Unlike yesterday, I have no news for my "Sports News And Notes" blog. I finally found headphones that worked on my laptop. Now I can hear Mike Babcock's press conferences privately and loud and clear. I'm going to play video games later. |
