Here I will categorise the forms contained within, as well as provide notes on their structure and traditions.


Pantoum:

Empat-empat: a Malay form popularised by the French with regular stanzas of four lines each and a fixed rhyme scheme -- A1, B1, A2, B2, B1, C1, B2, C2... Z1, A2, Z2, A1. The reversal of the final repeat couplet completes the circle.
