May 15, 2017 This is a picture of my cat. I am not really a "cat-person" but for some reason I always end up with one cat. Well anyway this cat's name use to be "Ellie" because the people who had "her" thought "she was a girl kitten. Well let me tell you what a shock it was to them when the vet told them they should think about changing "Ellie's" name! Well they knew I had just lost my little tiny kitten Ling-Ling. I had her just three months when she had a seizer and died. That is how I got Eli. Yes, now his name is Eli. Eli is afraid of dogs, he use to live with big dog that chase him all the time. I have had him for almost two years now. He is quite vocal in the mornings when it is time for him to be fed. He likes warm milk at night before bedtime. After I have mine, I set my cup down with just a little bit in the bottom and Eli sticks his paw (left paw) in the cup and licks the milk off his paw. I forgot to tell you, Eli is a very big cat. he weighs 19 pounds. The really strange thing about Eli is that he looks just like another cat I had many years ago. He and "Fluffy" are the same color and marked just a like. the thing is; I once wrote a short story about "The Cat who Could not be Given Away". |
| Hi, Bow season is once again upon us. There was a shot and 6 eagles and 7 or 8 buzzers flew over head and later a pair of eagles flew right in front of us (could almost touch them) it was sooooo awesome! I don't have inteenet; however, I do have it on my smartphone. I hope this works. |
| October 22, 2017 Hi, It has been a long 2 weeks. I am house/apartment hunting. Friday, my books came. (The 4 I wrote) It was a very big disappointment to read the the first book. There was a huge mistake in the publication. So I have to remove it from the bookshelf. The other 3 are ok. |
| Happy weekend, I tried to do this last night but battery was dying. how everyone had a great weekend. mine was mostly uneventful. My son did have me take the gulf cart out to show me how to get to the Flash foods over on the US-82. He rode and I drove. (yes he did live through it all) however, I was not too sure I was going to. There is a spot that we have to cut across to get back on the blacktop road. and the golf cart leans "a bit" ok a LOT. and on the way back it it is scary (ok maybe a LOT scary) He made me turn around and go back through it again. We found I am not strong enough to put the Gulf cart in Reverse. so he let me go around the block. I still have to back through the scary part anyway. he explained that because of the weight in the bottom of it, it will not flip over. lt was better but still scary. Ana |
| October 6th We had family from Florida come to visit this weekend. I can tell already it is going to be a mad house. On the up side I bravely took the gulf cart and to my long time friends and neighbor for what was a very nice visit. |

| October 4, 2017 Today has been very quit. I was up much of the night because my "husband" chose drive back to New York from Jacksonville FL. He is 77 and it is a 15 to 20 hour drive. He drove it alone. (We aren't together.) However, I still asked him to "check in" off and on. As with the kids when they are on a long drive I take my phone to bed. SI, the fish is doing great in his new tank. If he keeps eating like he has the last two days he'll need a new tank. Lol. |
| October 3rd, 2017 It has been an interesting day. Got invited out to breakfast first thing this morning. Was given a fighting fish I really wasn't in the "market" for but couldn't let them "flush"him either. So I moved him from a 1/2gal. Bowl to a 3gal. tank and he seems to be happier (if a fish can be happy). Oh, and got him some better food too.I know, I have "sucker" written on my forhead. |
| Good Evening everyone, Today has been very quite here. I had the whole house to myself. The trip to Jacksonville Florida was a "wet trip" most of the way. But was enjoyable just the same. |
| Sept. 29, 2017 I have been away for sometime. There has been a lot going and it (sadly has affected my writing. However, I am back and my goal is to be a more productive member. With that being said there are still some "bumps" in the road. some of which may need a road grader to smooth out.I have moved back to Waycross, Georgia. So please be patient with me.
