I hope to show others that Pancho didn't die in vain. Born Jun 5, 1878, his mother named him Jose Doroteo Arango Arambula. He was born in La Coyotada, San Juan del Rio, Durango Mexico. He died July 20, 1923 at only 45 years of age.His people called him Fransisco "Pancho" Villa, El Centauro del Norte. (The Centaur of the North) Pancho is buried in Mexico City, at the Monument to the Revolution. His rank of General of Mexico in the antireectionista revolutionary forces is what had eventually gotten him killed. |
