although my commitments are work ...its hellishly busy! But I'm desperate to try and carry on even though I'm a couple of days behind

I think there is a fresh water species of dolphins. I'll look it up. It seems like if they are in a river they need to be fresh water.

Maybe people in Paramaribo would be less likely to take your comments as a light hearted story.

I saw a story on the news last night in USA that just made me laugh even though it had a very down side. Two young men who wanted drugs went to a dealer and tried to steal his drugs instead of pay for them. The dealer pulled out a gun and shot them. 911 was called which brought the police who arrested the drug dealer for shooting the young men not for dealing drugs. Twisted for sure.

Sure, averageness is a word...now. Yes, I really enjoyed the bar hopping. Rio is so alive! Um, I cannot whistle at the best of times, say when I'm perfectly sober, so I'll admit to the stopping, but not the whistling...

Well... I was sitting there with you by the lighthouse looking up at those who can climb! Long trip and and sleeping in the airport tuckers one out.

Yeah... the Promenade Gardens need some work... the area around the zoo (I went earlier) was nicer.

You missed out on Thai food! I stuck to Indian however.

It'll be great to meet you in Georgetown. I skipped Caracas as well. Staying at the Marriott with the others? I found a cheap place near the zoo.

Spacecat, just so you know if you ever reach our group in Venezuela call the hotel and get a driver to pick you up at the airport it isn't safe to travel alone in the city. You could end up in a Venezuela prison.
