| One day everyone who has accepted the free gift of salvation from sin and death through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will enjoy a lifetime of knowing nothing but love, joy, peace, perfection and having fun as members of God's Holy Family, "God" being the "God" of the Holy Bible, consisting of our three Creators: our Father in Heaven, His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our Helper, the Holy Spirit. In this blog, you will find entries rejoicing in these events to come, as well as, other entries expressing awe, joy and thankfulness for the blessings past and present I've experienced in my life, and the good times I'm looking forward to having when I'm no longer physically-challenged, when I have a perfect, agile, pain-free, sin-free, glorious holy body like Jesus' temporarily human body became when it was transformed as He rose back up to Heaven to be with our Heavenly Father and our Helper, the Holy Spirit, after spending the time He spent in His resurrected human body form on earth proving He truly was resurrected and "God Incarnate" to all of His believers who saw Him in person during that special time period in history. |
| Thursday, April 5, 2018 Among the many things I look forward to experiencing in "the new heaven and earth" when it is finally time for every saved, reconciled "child of God" to live there with perfect, sin-free, fully-functional bodies like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's transformed Body, is being able to happily, fully use my song-writing gifts from the Holy Spirit. Right now, with the body I have that is limited in its functioning because of the arthritis that prevents me from using my hands like other composers without any hand-problems can do, as well as, other physical challenges my body has in sitting or standing while holding and playing instruments, like guitars and keyboards, drums, etc., I have difficulty in putting together every song I compose. But when it's time for me to have a body like my Savior's transformed Body, I will rejoice that I can compose beautiful music and perform it too, without any bodily difficulties or restrictions!!! Praise God for that!!! Also, I'll be able to enjoy performing with other members of my family who have musical gifts and love using them. My earthly Mom has a beautiful singing voice. My earthly Dad can play drums and tenor sax. My brother can play the guitar. My uncle Al can play the piano. Each of these family members will be among the saved "children of God" there with me and other saved family members, and if we decide to, with our Creators' approval, we could form our own performing group like The Partridge Family, and, perhaps, call ourselves: The McLean Family Band. Wouldn't that be something? Whatever else, though, I may or may not do with my musically-gifted family members, I will be sooooooooooooooooo incredibly excited and thankful to be, at last, fully able to be a blessing to my Creators and everyone else in using the musical part of all of the creative gifts I've been given!!! | Thursday, April 5, 2018 I recently watched the Marvel Studios movie DOCTOR STRANGE and was truly amazed by all of the incredible computer-generated graphic effects that special effects designers are able to create for movies such as this. All of these visual effects are 3D "eye candy" for every lover of action-adventure, "heroes vs. villains" films. But as amazing and awe-inspiring as today's spectacular special effects are, they can only remind us of how amazing and spectacular, beyond our limited imaginative capacity to conceive, was the spoken creation of everything our Creators: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit made when they displayed their unique capacity for universal and earthly extra-special effects! We can only imagine in part how exciting and delightful a sight every moment filled with Creative Special Effects was! WOW!!! Wouldn't it have been a joyous blessing to witness all of Creation being created as it happened, like our Creators witnessed it? Even though we weren't able to be there witnessing it with our Creators, we have their loving depiction of how it all happened, of everything they did, recorded for our knowledge and blessing in the Word of God, the Holy Bible, in its first book, the Book of Genesis, and elsewhere in it. And I don't know about you, but my heart is filled with thankfulness and joy every time I read about how Creation really looked as it was happening, in the Word of God. | Thursday, March 29th, 2018 Was checking out my Internet news this afternoon and read that scientists have discovered a new, earth-sized planet. After all these years, it was our Creators' timing for mankind to learn about this particular planet that They had created in the beginning of Their speaking all of Creation into being and placing this orb into its location among the vast universe They gave us to enjoy learning things about. All of which point to and testify to its Creation by our Creators as a blessing for mankind to have as one of the demonstrations of how awesomely creative and loving They are!!! You know, every day, if you're spending some of your time seeking to discover new things about your Creators' loving hearts and creations, you will find yourself smiling as you happily discover them. The sources They've provided to enlighten us are as vast and wonderful as all of the things They've created for us to learn from. How many examples of our Creators' love and creative joy have you found and experienced as blessings from Them in your life? | Friday, March 23, 2018 Have you ever thought about what would have happened to Adam and Eve, and consequently, their children, and all of us, if Adam and Eve had listened to our Creators: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, believed what They told them about the one forbidden fruit tree that they were told not to eat the fruit from, and why that was an important love revelation from their Creators? If Adam and Eve chose not to believe our enemy, the first sinner and fallen angel Satan's subtle and clever lies about our Creators' purpose in creating one tree not to eat the fruit from? Then they and none of us would know what a sinful nature is and can do to our bodies, our hearts and spirits. We wouldn't be prone to all the effects a sinful nature causes to our thinking and our emotions. We wouldn't be tempted and have to resist: wanting everything our way, or else! ... to committing crimes of various kinds, like murder, robbery, physical and sexual abuse, terrorist attacks, cheating, lying, etc, etc. Instead, Adam and Eve's, and our lives, would have continued on, without physical or spiritual death of body and spirit, being immortally alive, unblemished-by-sin members of God's created family of mankind. Adam and Eve, and their children and all their progeny, would have enjoyed, not only living in the Garden of Eden, but branching out from there into all of Creation, using the creative intelligence that our Creators' have blessed us all with, to develop inventions like we have today that bless our lives and give us joy to use. And each of those helpful inventions would not be a detriment in any way to us or any part of God's Creation; they would not have "ill side effects" of any kind. We'd still have developed things like various kinds of transportation, communication devices, beautifully-designed buildings for housing and sin-free businesses and entertainment, all of these being a blessing to our lives, and giving honor, praise and glory to our Creators!!! As we know, this is not what happened to Adam and Eve, their children, and all of their progeny, down to us, consequently. But, we're so blessed and loved by our Creators to know that through Their provision of a way of salvation from sin by faith in the perfect substitutionary death in our place on the Roman Cross at Calgary of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will one day live as we were originally created to live: perfect, sin-free, creative and loving lives as members of our Creators' holy family in a new heaven and earth, completely free from an inherited sin nature and Satan and his band of fellow fallen angels. Yay, Lord!!! What a wonderful experience to look forward to having forever!!! "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. | Friday, March 23, 2018 What a blessing our Creators: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, gave us in creating delicious flavors to taste as we eat the nourishing varieties of food our bodies were created to need and enjoy! And even if our bodies may not particularly need everything we eat, like all those chocolate dessert items, it's still a delightful blessing to enjoy their yummy flavors while we do our best to control how much of them we eat, so that we don't overdo our eating of them, with our Creators' help in controlling ourselves, not only in what and how much we eat, but in resisting all kinds of other temptations to overdo something we're doing that's not healthy and good for us, whatever that something may be. What are some of your taste buds favorite flavors? Some of mine are: meatloaf, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, sweet peas, lettuce, tomatoes, raspberries, strawberries, watermelon, brownies, Reese Cups, Hazelnut Flavored Coffee, Mocha Lattes, Chocolate-Marshmallow Ice Cream, Chocolate - Vanilla Ice Cream "Twists", and Wintergreen and Juicy Fruit flavored gum. These are all some of the wonderful flavors we have to enjoy in this heaven and earth. How many more, new, especially-created flavors will our Creators have for our taste buds to delight in when we have new, perfect, sin-free bodies like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's transformed body in the new heaven and earth, our "home of righteousness", when it's time for them to be created after the end of "the Battle of Armageddon" and our enemy, Satan's final defeat and removal from this heaven and earth and every saved, reconciled, child of God's life forever? I'm soooooooooooo looking forward to finding out!!! How 'bout you? |
| Saturday, March 10, 2018 I can't wait to live, love and have fun in "the home of righteousness"!!! That will be our joy to experience forever as saved-from-sin, reconciled, perfect, recreated-into-bodies-like-Jesus'-transformed-Body, children of our Creators, in the new heavens and new earth when it's finally time for those to be created. Because I'm physically-challenged and don't drive in this sin-effected heaven and earth, there are so many things I can't do that others who are physically-able can do without any problems. And, of course, I miss being physically-able too, like I used to be before "young people's arthritis" caused me to become physically-challenged at 16 years of age in 1963. So I really look forward to becoming physically-able again, with a body that's even better than the physically-able body I used to have in this heaven and earth, because it will be sin-nature free and perfect, functionally, in every way, just like my Lord and Savior Jesus' transformed Body is now!!! WOW!!! Am I gonna put my new perfect body to good, happy, creative use when I am given it!!! I'm gonna run around without crutches, jump, tumble and roll, walk barefoot in the grass and sand and surf, and wherever else I want to go barefoot in and at ... I'm gonna ride horses and bikes, and drive whatever types of pollution-free cars and vehicles we have to drive around in on the new earth ... in the Holy City, "New Jerusalem", and outside of it, wherever there is to travel to as holy tourists ... I'm gonna learn how to play and then play all of the musical instruments I've wanted to play but haven't been able to because of my present body's inability to play musical instruments ... I'm gonna write new songs and play and sing them in my own musical groups and orchestras to entertain and bless the hearts and spirits of everyone ... I'm gonna walk around photographing all of the beauty of the new earth, and share those photos with everyone in the museums there, as well as, put those photos on the musical album covers of the collections of the recordings I've created to listen to that people can acquire free to enjoy listening to wherever they choose to listen to my compositions ... I'm gonna write all kinds of writings about our lives as children of our Creators and residents of "the home of righteousness", editing and proofreading them, and creating beautiful graphic designs to compliment each of those writings, in books and magazines ... and so many other wonderful, happy, loving things that a perfect, totally functional, sin-free body like Jesus' Body can enjoy doing!!! | Thursday, March 1st, 2018 I was reflecting in my mind today about all of the ways our Creators: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, communicate with us. How they are able to speak to each of us in whatever language we speak, whether it be English, French, Spanish, Native American, Asian, or all the many African languages. They should be able to, of course, since it was necessary for them to cause the one language everyone spoke since Adam and Eve to become many languages to prevent the foolish building of the Tower of Babel by those who had decided they wanted to attempt to build a tower to Heaven, as recorded in God's Word. That's an amazing and incredible historical event worth reading, if you've never read it before or if you just want to refresh your memory of it. Besides being able to speak to everyone telepathically in their minds during their "personal relationship" times with Them, and in the translations of the Holy Bible into everyone's written language, our Creators' communicate with us through all of Creation, as we study and learn about everything They've created, how it all functions perfectly to benefit us and its own needs, which demonstrates to mankind that all those things were created by Them, intelligently designed by Them, not, as some believe, through some random event, like a "big bang" that set Creation into motion somehow to evolve into you and me and all of the things around us. Whenever I look into the makeup of you and me and all of the animals and other things in our world and the universe, I hear our Creators communicating to my heart and mind and spirit that what I'm learning about is one of the proofs in life They have given to everyone that They exist and have created me and everything out of Their great love for me and all of Creation. If you don't realize this truth yet, I hope and pray one day you will, that this truth will lead you to salvation from the inherited sin nature we all have through Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, that, as God's Word encourages you to come to know, that this "truth will set you free" from not knowing what is really true about our Creators, Their Creation, Sin and Salvation from Sin. | Sunday, February 17, 2018 There are so many beautifully designed buildings gracing the landscapes of the cities and towns of our world! I love discovering new ones as I explore the photographs of buildings posted on the internet. And every time I am blessed to discover an attractive new building design, I am reminded of the city landscapes that God's children have to look forward to seeing and enjoying when God's Holy City, now residing in Heaven with God, comes at last to reside on Earth when the "new heavens and earth" are created by God for God's children to live in, with an atmosphere of perfect love, joy, peace, faith and thanksgiving existing there. It will be a beautiful "home of righteousness" for everyone living there! We have wonderful descriptions of what this Holy City, renamed "New Jerusalem" in the Book of Revelation, will look like, with all of its incredible building designs rivaling and surpassing all of the incredible building designs men and women have created in this heaven and earth with their God-given creative intellects! And mankind's Lord and Savior has even promised each of God's reconciled, adopted children a "mansion" especially designed by Him that will be beautiful and pleasing to the eyes of each believer. Isn't that special? Doesn't it fill your heart with joy to know and look forward to? It sure does mine!!! | Saturday, February 10, 2018 I love being creative, using the gifts the Holy Spirit has given me in as many ways as I am able to do so! In this "heaven and earth", I'm restricted in the amount of things I can do with my creative gifts because of my physical challenges and whether or not I have people in my life willing to help me do some of the things my body prevents me from doing, like, musically, standing up or sitting down holding and playing musical instruments easily. I have a keyboard, but I can only play it with one hand for figuring out the notes of a melody I'm composing and playing them. But I rejoice in knowing that when I finally have a totally free, agile, perfect body like the Lord Jesus' body, I'll be able to stand or sit and hold and learn to play any instrument I choose to compose songs on for the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and my brothers and sisters in the family of God, to enjoy, in concert presentations, as well as, at home in the "mansions" we have then that the Lord went to prepare for us when he ascended back into Heaven as His resurrected body was transformed into the type of body every believer in His perfection sacrifice for their salvation from sin will have. My creative gifts from the Holy Spirit are: writing, editing, graphic designing, songwriting, and an eye for what makes a great photograph and taking that photo! I love enjoying using all these creative gifts whenever I have the opportunity and my body will allow me to use them! I stopped using my photography gifts when it became too hard for me to use them because of my physical challenges, but I still have this gift, and am looking forward to using it again when it's time for me to be able to do so again with a body like Jesus', photographing the various landscapes and people and things in the "new heaven and earth" for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and everyone to enjoy seeing what I've photographed in exhibits and wherever else my photographs are displayed, like, perhaps on musical album covers, book and magazine covers, and made available for decoration on the walls of the "mansion" homes people live in, if they see that particular photograph and want to take a copy home to put on their walls. There will be lots of possiblities for display of the photographs that God's photography-gifted children take, praise God!!! I used my photography gift from the Holy Spirit the most in my life during the three years I was in college at O.S.U. - Mansfield, enjoying taking photographs of students on campus for some of my art classes there, as well as, photographing theater students, like myself, posing for scenes from the plays we were involved in on campus. As a theater student, I enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to various on-campus play productions as a member of those plays' tech crews, working either the sound or lights during those productions. That was sooooooo much FUN!!! That was back in the years 1980 through 1983. One year some of my campus photographs were chosen to be among the photographs used for the Ohio State University-Mansfield Branch advertising brochure and calendar. That was a special photographic joy and treat for my heart and spirit that year!!! You know, some people may not think about all of the fun all of God's children will have in the forever days of "the new heaven and earth", using their gifts from the Holy Spirit, whether they are creative gifts, hospitality gifts, spiritual gifts, serving gifts of various kinds, or other types of unique gifts, but that's exactly what will be going on there: having FUN and loving God and others, and being sin-nature free and at peace with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, our Creators', just like Adam and Eve used to be in the Garden of Eden before their Fall into the sin that triggered all of the effects of sin on mankind and throughout the created world we live in now. Our Creators' gave us minds capable of intelligently creating things and discovering information about all of the things of Creation, which has resulted in such wonderful inventions that help us to enjoy living in this world. There is no reason to think we won't continue to use our God-given creative intelligence to create and manufacture the same helpful inventions to use in our lives in "the new heavens and earth" as we have fun there and love and honor and give glory to our Creators there in an atmosphere of total love, peace, joy, and thanksgiving!!! I don't know 'bout you, but I am looking forward to being a part of all these blessings, having a body like Jesus', and freely and completely using every gift I've been given by the Holy Spirit!!! | Friday, February 9, 2018 I was thinking today about how wonderful it is to know the truth about God and life and not need to go searching anyplace to find out what is the truth about God and life, Creation, our world, the stars and planets, nature, animals or anything else ... to know why we are here, how we really got here, and what God's purposes for our lives are! It always amazes me that so many people can't see or believe what has become obvious to me and other believers in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as we develop our relationships with each of them and keep learning more and more about them and how everything they've created works, through their Word, the Holy Bible, and through all the sources they've provided for us to grow and learn the truths about them and the Creation we're a part of. Through the years, the more each believer grows in their relationships with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and reads and learns about their Creation, it just becomes more and more natural and obvious that there can be no other truth to find than that God's Word is the "truth, the way, and the life" for eveyone and everything, just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, have lovingly given us to know and to enjoy and rejoice in!!! For fellow believers, there are so many beautiful, loving and wonderful sources that have been made available to us by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit using their Word as the basis for everything learned and shared about their Creation, whether it be discoveries about our human bodies, human natures, and how they work as God designed them to, or discoveries about animals' designs, the universe's designs, biology, chemistry, botany, mathematics, and every other scientific area of study that reveals knowledge to us from God about all of the things in Creation. One of my favorite sources to learn about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and their Word, and the nature and designs of the things in their Creation, is the magazine ANSWERS IN GENESIS and its website: AnswersinGenesis.com. I share things I've learned from this magazine and website here and elsewhere often. In addition to these sources revealing God's Truth to everyone who will listen, learn and accept it, there are, of course, a wealth of other sources the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have given us to discover what is really true about them, us, life, and their Creation. Whichever source God leads you to, I am happy to know it will be a blessing to your heart and an encouragement and inspiration to your spirit and creative gifts from the Holy Spirit, as each source of discovery based on God's Word only is!!!! | February 1st, 2018 In my family, there are and have been so many creative members. My Mom enjoyed acting, singing and dancing as a young woman. My Dad used his love and gift for drawing to foster a successful career as a Master Tool and Die Maker for General Motors, which involved first creating exacting technical designs for the various tools and dies before they were stamped out to become the dies that made the many parts that made up each new car model every year at the GM car factory he worked for. Also, my Dad and Mom enjoyed performing together as roller skating partners at various skating shows and competitions as part of their young, romantic years together, before marrying and starting a family filled with creatively gifted children and grandchildren. When I was a child, preteen, then young teenager, my parents used to take my sister and brother and I to various roller rinks to enjoy skating as a family. How I LOVED doing that, before "young people's arthritis" ended my being able to enjoy doing things like roller skating, bike-riding, horseback-riding, and some of the other popular physical activities that physically able people do without any restrictions! But, even if I can no longer do those activities in this temporary body of mine, I can still enjoy being creative in the many ways that are available to me, using the creative gifts the Holy Spirit has given me to be a blessing, encouragement and inspiration to others as I have opportunity and venues to do so. So I am perpetually thankful to God that I can do this. Why did I get on this topic? Because I was remembering tonight my recent thoughts about how special it will be to be completely physically-free to do things creatively and otherwise again, like I used to be able to do before I became 16 and that heartbreaking, painful "young people's arthritis" entered my life and made it impossible to enjoy all the physically fun things I loved to do. Also, I was thinking about my creative Christian relatives and friends who have gone to be with God before me, like my Mom and Dad, brother Rob, and Uncle Al, and what a wonderful reunion we will one day have, and all of the creative things we will be able to enjoy doing together in the perfect, gloried bodies we've been promised to have, to enjoy being with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit forever in "the home of righteousness", which will be "the new heavens and new earth" when they are created. | Tuesday, January 23, 2018 Our world, since its a "home of sinfulness" instead of a "home of righteousness", like the new heavens and new earth will be when they come into existence ... our world tends to be filled filled, naturally, with more reports of "bad news" items than "good news" items ... and I don't know about you, but I can only read or hear about so many "bad news" items happening before I need to tune out news reports for a while and escape into fictional fun and happy things to enjoy, such as episodes of favorite movies and TV series, or a good book, whether fictional or non-fictional. It's a blessing that such fare is available to everyone to help us "take a breather" from reading or hearing about all the bad things in our world that break our hearts and frustrate and appall us. I'm so glad to know that one day, when it's time, there will be cause for celebration, because all "bad news" has ended, and only "good news" will exist in the world and heavens we live in for those who have accepted and not rejected the Good News of their salvation from sin by faith in Jesus' perfect, necessary sacrifice on everyone's behalf to earn that salvation from sin and spiritual death for mankind! What a joy to look forward to ... instead of knowing that whenever and wherever we receive the news reports of happenings in our world, we can expect to hear of crime and sins of other kinds, wars and disasters going on around us, heartbreaking events mixed with events that bless our hearts and make us smile, inspiring and encouraging us. We are encouraged in the Book of Philippians to think about all of the good things in life, but this a challenge to our thought lives when we live with so many reports of the bad things in our lives via for our minds' attention. It's necessary to know about bad things so that we can do our parts in correcting those bad things, with God's help, as much as we are able to be a part of correcting them, but thank God we also have reports of good things in life that need no correction to rejoice in and praise God for!!! | Sunday, January 7, 2018 One of the joys of being a member of the family of God is the daily opportunities to learn more about God, about the three spiritual persons who are God: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and grow in becoming more and more like them in loving, caring behavior, as one follows their examples in expressing love and care for other humans and Creation itself. This is a blessing to the hearts and spirits of everyone who has these opportunities and uses them to benefit themselves, others and Creation, which results in the bringing of honor, glory and praise to God because of our diligence and commitment in following God's behavioral examples. I look forward to the gift of every new day from God to learn and to grow in wisdom and knowledge of His Truths and loving, righteous behavior! I hope and pray that you do too. | Monday, January 1, 2018 HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my fellow writing friends here on Writing.com!!! Looking forward to seeing my dreams for 2018 come true and God's purposes for my life this year being fulfilled. What are my dreams for 2018? Here's a list of three of them that are alive in my heart: First of all, to bring God honor, glory and praise in all my writings and creative endeavors this year. Secondly, to find a Special Someone to bless and share the rest of our lives together as creative husband and wife partners, loving God and others, and representing, with Their help, the hearts and characters of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in this fallen world, hearts that are full of saving, merciful, gracious, and amazing Agape Love for all of Their Creation! And thirdly, to create and share several short stories about people helping and loving others in significant ways that are a blessing to everyone's hearts. What are some of the purposes for 2018 for me from our Creators that I am aware of right now? First, to enjoy every day being creative, with Their help, in all the various ways it's possible for me with my physical challenges, challenges that make some avenues of creativity difficult or just NOT POSSIBLE for me until I have, like everyone saved by their faith in Jesus' perfect sacrifice on the Cross to conquer sin and death, ... until I have an unphysically challenged, perfect, glorified, sin-nature free body like the type of body that Jesus has and has been promised by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to eveyone who has been so saved. Secondly, to love all my family members and friends and help them, as they need my help, in every way I am able to, with God's help in doing so. And thirdly, to appreciate and be thankful for everything I am able to do, creatively and otherwise, for everyone God has blessed me to have as the people in my life to love, help, and share God's love and blessings with.
