My latest blogging endeavor to catalog my activities here on WdC

~Myself~

My name is Cat Voleur and, as you've probably guessed, I'm a writer. I worked as a freelancer for a few years, taking several ghostwriting positions before finally deciding to start doing stuff under my own name. I've had a handful of small publications and am working on some bigger stuff now.

~My Blog~

This is my second WdC blog. I'm starting it because I just went through and renovated a lot of the things from my portfolio and I thought it would be a good time to get a fresh start.

The book is titled after a song from one of my favorite Coheed and Cambria albums.

It's mostly going to be about my and what I'm up to on the site. There will sometimes be other stuff like promotions for cool stuff that I find on other sites that I think you guys might be interested in as well as promos for cool content that I find on here.

I don't have anything in common with most of my friends anymore. The realization explained a lot of what I've been going through lately, but it also made me feel incredibly isolated....

I never fit in to any particular "group" either and yet fit into them all on a part-time basis. I've been labelled weird, a snob, etc. Then I read this quote and I felt much better:

Why fit in when you were meant to stand out! --Dr. Seuss.

Also, I've often wondered why we have to fit in with "the crowd." Why can't they "fit into" us?

You're an awfully busy person, that's for sure. I was tired after reading all of this. It sounds like you're moving right along though. As far as being lonely, I can kind of relate, and I'm married. I hope you meet someone soon. I haven't been writing a whole lot and have no plans to do NaNo this year. Good luck to you. I wish you the best.

That does sound like a cool job and perfect for you.

I also took in yet one more stray cat! The other three do not like her one bit, so it's been a rough adjustment period so far. She will be getting spayed on Wednesday. I wish other people would stop being so irrisponsible.

There is a constant stream of stray cats in our area. I said three was my limit with also having our big dog to care for, too, but now my limit is four!

It's good to see you back. You've been mighty busy this summer. Congratulations on finishing your manuscript! That's excellent news. Getting paid to watch horror movies—that's pretty cool.

I am ecstatic whenever you return! I think you're much braver than me, too, to express yourself in your blog. I tend to suffer in silence, which is never a good thing to do.

Bravo on putting all those websites together. I bet your friend loves you to pieces. I wanted to learn how to do that, but I never completed the task.

I am very proud of your HM at the Quills, Cat! I love reading your insightful reviews, especially when you give me one!
